Joined the lobby about 30 minutes before it started and started at #68. So far 2/2. Either I've been very lucky (other time I started at #0), or there are other factors impacting where you enter the line. It certainly does not seem to be related to when you join the lobby.

I can't speak for everyone else on a general level, but for me personally I came back to the hobby right around when PSA shut down last year. I am sitting on a mountain of cards acquired in the past year because PSA was shut down and only accepting express orders for a long time, now standard is $100, so even at $50 this is the best prices they have offered in a long time. I am not sending in everything at $50 a card, but I have a huge demand for the cheapest grading possible and PSA is still king for final resale value.

For other people I assume demand is high just from the fact that every card released in the past year that did not warrant express people are sitting on if they didn't want to go the SGC/CSG route.

As more people find out about this, the chances will become smaller and smaller. I expect some people to report over 10,000 in the queue for the next event.

Yeah, they indicated that it's a random lottery as long as you get in the lobby before the event starts.

You should buy a lottery ticket next time at the gas station. That's great luck right there being 4/4.

Sorry, I was 7500-something (I didn't look over to that window immediately).

Interesting that my number is now just above 5k; this is a bigger event than the previous ones, maybe? (Realized this after - maybe just a lot of people with lower, but still hopeless, numbers dropping out...)

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Event full....last I saw there was 600ish to go. So basically 1600 spots.

That makes me 1/5. And I had 3 browsers open this time.

I screen recorded and looking back my starting number was actually 4,155 and it ended on 2,228. That's 1,927 and the total might be closer to 2,000 for those that get the instant allocations. Definitely seems to be increasing numbers allocated each week.

I think everyone is seeing something different on the countdown. Mine started at 2554 and closed out at 985. So...similar to Jan. events with approx 1500-1600 spots allocated.
