There weren't any high-end Jordan cards 30 years ago. Maybe a BGS 10 rc would have been considered high-end.

I didn't go through and do an item by item comparison, but I'd think it's something like this:

Michael Jordan - 35%
Sealed Wax - 17.5%
LeBron - 12.5%
Trae - 10%
Kobe - 10%
2012 Silver Prizm - 7.5%
KD, Luka, and Ja - 7.5%

This was an interesting thing to think through. I'd like the breakdown to be probably about 50% Jordan and then the rest goes from there...so maybe it's time for a little rebalancing.

Hagaman is also lying. His signatures says "PC Players: Michael Jordan, Sidney Crosby, Ben Roethlisberger, Kenny Pickett" yet his breakdown doesn't even include the latter two.

A lot of BO members lie.

I don’t invest in cards. I’ve literally only sold a card maybe 5 times in the last 10 years. The non PC Cards I’ve bought are solely added because they are cards I think I may be able to use as trade bait for rare PC Cards I won’t be able to pay cash for in the future if in a persons PC that doesn’t really sell, like me.

My main PC is Ron Harper. I accept I won’t ever get the money out of the hobby that I put in it. It’s like paying for a membership at a golf club. The value is in the entertainment it provides, not the resale potential.

I think there are obviously short term investments that someone could make and be successful. I just don’t think holding anyone long term is a great idea. As superstars get older their records get broken, their fans die off, their highlights look less impressive, and they become senile and say stupid stuff.
I think I've done really well long term and will continue to do well buying Mantle, Ruth, Jackie, Clemente, Wilt, Hank Aaron etc. and they have done nothing but gone up. Im glad I didn't listen to the ones that told me through the years not to buy its too expensive. Don't have to worry too much about these guys saying something people don't like in the future either.

Jordan 50% and sanders at 50%. The goats as for Brady boy you have to be a whale for that risk to high to keep going. Higher prices less buying pool. Also I only buy raw and send for grading. Lower premium and also sold big cards last few years while I was telling everyone to sell as crash becoming. So got plenty of cash on hand just waiting for right place. Houses to high and cypto and nft are fake as shiit zero interest in that.

Don’t buy overprice wax as that’s there to siphon money from hobby. I see another 90% drop in mostly modern over pump players that will be average or garbage in years to come. As every year new rookies comes.

I don't have any.

Have sold or are in the process of selling it all. Love to have the capital in hand to buy after the reset.

Buying a downward spiraling market the last 15 months with no PSA has sucked. Ready for 2017/2018 times all over again

ideally - 45% cards 45% stocks 5% NFTS 5% Crypto

As the market keeps dropping I want to get a blue chip piece I can hold for years instead of playing the flip game. That is the way to do it.
