I shared the link in the main PWCC trimming thread but this Net54 thread also covers the topic. Unlike your situation, this is from the perspective of a buyer, with a messed up invoice and multiple excuses from PWCC.

I can't believe people would let a shady-at-best 3rd party hold their valuable cards. LIve and learn I guess.

The vaulting I can't say I understand. Shipping there to avoid state sales tax on ebay I get. They also seemed a good option to sell on until recently. Not getting paid for a 5 figure item sucks and their reasoning makes no sense to me.

i just read your other posts on pwcc and i’m sorry to hear that…seems like a mess and suspicious.

for me, living in a high-sales tax state, it has always been about minimizing or avoiding the sales tax with purchases. and pwcc’s fulfillment shipping had been so fast that i didn’t mind leaving things there for a bit of time. however this extended shipping delay coupled with the layoffs and the delay in reflecting payments does make me start to wonder about them and there’s no way i’m continuing to use them as a temporary store or as a seller (which i was considering). the “bank run” possibility seems like it makes sense to me.

Do they still offer cash advances up to 50% fair market value? I took advantage of that the one time I consigned. Worth a shot, at least. If they don't do that anymore, I wouldn't be too surprised.

Good luck.

It appears to still be offered, yes.

I tried this a month ago, for me it was 25% market value.
