So to resurrect an (un)dead thread.
Anybody heard anything about this? Cryptozoic says Q3 2024 on their site with no specifics on anything. Blowout has no listings for pre order, DA is still showing a Sept. 18th release date.
It would be nice to know because I do want some boxes but I'm not gonna have money tangled in a pre order that never comes out.

I do have money tangled in a pre-order and every few weeks I check the Cryptozoic IG and I doubt this product has been mentioned by them since it was announced. Was honestly hoping your bump was someone updating the thread with actual release date!

My guess is that Cryptozoic makes their big announcements immediately after securing the license. Then they start the hard work of building the set which may take months. They may need to do that to push other manufacturers off their claim.

Looks like there's been an update on the GTS website.

They're adding wardrobe relics & numbered cards.
Nice additions with about 2.5 hits per box now.

But release day is now Q1 2025

Bummer on another delay, but at least more concrete info on the set.

One big bother is that originally it was advertised as 1 auto 1 sketch per hobby, but now the odds for autos are 1:32 packs, so three hobbys per case are without. As someone who could give a crank about wardrobe and script cards this disappoints. Maybe securing autos has been the big difficulty and major cause of delay here.

Can someone explain to me the 0.5 out of the 2.5 hits? I have never been good with odds on products. What constitutes 0.5 of a hit? The chase cards?

I haven't checked, but would assume the product will be packaged like their normal sets- 24 packs per box with 12 boxes in a case.

That being said, the odds above would yield you the following per case:
Sketch card- 12
Autograph cards- 9
Wardrobe cards- 6
Script card- 3

That's a total of 30 hits in a 12 box cases- or 2.5 hits per box.

I would expect 6 boxes would have 2 hits each and 6 boxes would have 3 hits each- unless they decide to just make all boxes have 3 hits each if they are so inclined.

For example, 5 hits across 2 boxes. One box will have a third hit, the other will not.

The numbered parallels are not usually considered hits by Cryptozoic.

Gonna resurrect the thread on this holiest of days in which many celebrate The Jeebus Man. Very anxious to see the sketch card artist and autograph signers lists.

If this is anything like Cryptozoic's Archer release from a decade ago, it'll be a shining success.
