Denver post title celebrations so far. Shooting of 9 people after the game. Now during parade PD officer who was trying to stop people from rushing the firetruck Jokic and Murray were on gets run over by said firetruck and could lose his leg.

You'd think the city of Denver would have some idea of how to celebrate a championship... after all, they've had a few Super Bowls with the Broncos.

Using Denver as the scale, Cleveland is lucky that the river didn't catch on fire again when the Cavs won in 16.

im surprised a 1st pick salary is at 11million per year. That sounds a lot for a rookie that doesnt even know how to manage money.

But if you do, can even retire at the end of the rookie contract

Lakers made it to Western Conference finals. Lakers now need to add some complimentary pieces instead of being stupid and adding another “Big Name” aka Russell Westbrook. Please Please No Kyrie

as a miami fan, i dont want that beal contract.
Heat need more friendly salaries just in case a superstar becomes available.
Friendly salaries like Al horford and dejounte murray.

Horford can replace cody zeller and maybe kevin love. He's only 10m and 9m.
Dejounte murray will fit 100% in miami. He's like an oladipo type of player but healthier and consistent. Only 16m (one year left in contract though)

As a Wizard fan, the amount of disrespect people are showing Bradley Beal is crazy to me. Yes his contract is awful, but the dude is a 30 ppg scorer and can handle the ball and pass. Last year he was injured and was an anomaly. He will go to a new team and average 25ppg minimum, guaranteed.

I like Beal, but your bias is strong here. How is he a 30 point scorer exactly? Yes he has done it twice in his career, but he hasn't the last two years. Even in load management times this is a guy who hasn't played a full season in 4 years.

I think the idea of Beal is better than the actual player. (who is a very good player on an albatross contract)

I don’t blame him, Wizards couldn’t put together a half way decent roster around him. Their best season was with Westbrook…who many say is unplayable and a born loser.
