But to be clear, it will still be a "2022" product with the 2022 players and RC logos.

Rinse and repeat.

Create new "x" product.
Sell for "cheap".
Create the 2nd year of "x" product.
Jack up the price & overprint.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the look at what 2022 is selling at on secondary and price them just under that, sapphire pricing hasn’t been to dissimilar to that model

Makes me sad. I'm just thankful sapphire wasn't ruined so fast. Cosmic and logofractors are definitely toast after just one year.

I have a sneaky feeling that Topps is going to increase the checklist size from 200 to 250-300. That would not be good. Probably do the same with Logofractor from 110 to 200? Probably one of the reasons for the increased super odds. Topps always does this and ruins a good product ala Topps Chrome Update.

Sapphire was lucky. The hobby was lucky. It came before the boom and before Fanatics massively overpaid at the height of the boom.

Eh. I don't know. I suspect they keep Cosmic the same.

Logofractor I expect to balloon.

Does this product have Cosmic Lava Taco Refractors in honor of the Taco Bell Volcano menu?

Whole lotta whiners in this thread who didn’t buy it last year and weren’t going to buy it anyway lol. We all knew they would raise the print run a lot. From scanning the checklist it looks like there is minimal parallel or auto dilution. Assuming they keep the price around $200 I will be a happy buyer like I was last year

I'm looking forward to it as well after missing out last year - hopefully we can get at least 2 boxes pre-sale w/ Topps.

I think the outlook on products might differ for those buying caseloads and having to rip and flip or invest or whatever. I just like ripping a couple boxes (and usually getting burned) of whatever looks cool every once and again with the eternal hope of pulling a super or something awesome every so often.

Planetary Pursuit Pluto are 1:2200 BOXES.......those have to be 1/1 and that has to be a small checklist of cards.

I see Tacofractors.
Topps missed the opportunity to add Uranusfractors

Because Griffey hailed from an era where ultra rare cards have also always been ultra scarce. I want a red refractor /5 of Ohtani, and there are hundreds of options to choose from. The pool is incredibly dilute now.

There were several companies making tons of product during the junk wax era. Less inserts, and even less low serial numbered inserts, but truly rare Acuna stuff will still be desired in 25 years. (Assuming he doesn’t get busted for PEDs or slap his wife.)

What is truly rare Acuna?
