Pretty sure the great minds at EQL simply refer to it as "Equal" as in everyone has an "equal" chance.

Also a fun fact: EQL is not good at stopping bots.

I hope so. Last year's is still sitting unripped as the breakers stayed away. This is one I'm all for the breakers having a field day with so that singles get on the market. The deeper rookie class means there is a chance, but with that massive checklist I don't think this will be attractive enough to breakers with way too many dud breaks.

The inevitable cycle, fist everyone complains what a terrible deal it is (agree) and will pass, then everyone will post in for X boxes once it drops, then it will be something like 3 color a box instead of 2 all the good rips will get posted, everyone will forget and topps will do it again with next release

My favorite is that Fanatics isn't even hiding their money grab at this point. They have a Dodgers team card on the clip art on their website...They're showing off a $2 card for a $250 box.

You get the quantity of the product you request. I clicked on it to see what happens, you fill out the quantity you want with your info. If you get selected you are committed to buying that quantity I guess.

Yea I eventually just went down the rabbit hole and realized you can choose 1 or 2 boxes.

I just don’t get how people can pre-sale the stuff unless they know they will be chosen.

The cherry on top is that they require birth date to register. I bet they are making good money selling customer data to advertisers too.

It’s a bummer because I like to rip a couple each year but I can’t justify it at that price. $50 less per box and I would grab up to 4. Sorry fanatics, for that reason, I’m out.

MC club could buy 2 boxes yesterday. Most of what's listed on eBay is from that. Likely some listed from people assuming they will get it too. They are trying to sell it high before people realize how available (and terrible value) this will be. Almost $7/card with a HUGE checklist of average (aka worthless) players with zero autos.
