He does, Elly's fastest runs this year still not as fast as Carroll's last season during his MLB debut stint.

He slammed into a wall a few weeks ago and since then has definitely taken it easier on the basepaths. Even before that though (and now when he's healthy) he seems to not care about the "stats" part of it and is only stealing when it's situationally the right thing to do. Instead though, he is taking a ton of extra bases on routine plays. Not exactly great for the back of his baseball cards but DBacks are in 1st place in the West and he's been a huge part of their culture of hustling and taking extra bases.

Still, 23 SB so far ain't bad (good for 5th in MLB) and he's the only guy in the Top 5 with less than 6 Caught Stealing (Carroll's only been caught 2 times).

Know you are a Ronnie guy, would encourage you to watch Carroll play. Just like Acuna it's an experience - electric tools with extremely high IQ. What a time for Baseball fans!!

I looked at the purple and he added a note to that one at least (didn't check the others) stating that cards may contain "factory defects" such as surface scratches and print lines.

I'd expect these to be PSA 9 if you're lucky and more likely PSA 8 quality.

Still nice cards but I'd be wary if thinking about grading.

Left today's game with a possible right shoulder injury. It is the same shoulder that he injured in 2021 and missed nearly the whole season

Nope appeared to be non-contact. He aggravated it in an at bat, stayed in the game for another inning and was then pulled.

UPDATE: Torey Lovullo says Corbin Carroll will be day-to-day moving forward with the right shoulder soreness. No testing needed — they got “great news.” #Dbacks being very cautious given his shoulder injury history.

Curse you Bowman for having Dominic Fletcher and Corbin Carroll with pretty much the same image in 2019 Bowman Draft! I won a lot for what I thought was a super cheap price given that it had a Carroll 1st....which it didn't.

He's going home to the State he hit .540/.633/1.206/1.839 as a Senior
He'll be the 10th NL Rookie to ever start an All-Star Game
I believe he may be the 1st American of Asian descent to start an All-Star Game

Hopefully he'll get some good rest and be ready to put on a show for the world to see

It's nice (and surprising) that Topps didn't devalue the HFA inserts with a bunch of parallels, including chrome versions. They are nice, and nice Corbin!

Thanks! And yes, the main I’m starting to enjoy these and will probably get more is that they don’t have parallels. That’s charming in the day and age.
