Haha, he is in all 3 2024 products so far. That’s a bit silly.

I can’t stop buying. Too cheap.

At the very least, whatever the team decides to do with him, he basically gets to bide his time learning the ins and outs of being an NFL QB before going back out for the 2025 preseason where once again he'll likely excel and get people excited.

The 2025 preseason should be a super easy time to sell off anything anyone wants while giving them a better idea of whether he's a longterm hold for them or someone they want to move completely.

Personally, I'll probably list a few of my lower end cards, but I think he'll get a shot at starting somewhere eventually.

Someone may take a shot on him as a bridge guy, or maybe he elevates at least to #2. He's better than Pickett. He should be #2 now

YES, it was me that took the Nebula 1/2 down for my max bid of $128. It was too pretty not to take a shot on, I honestly thought I had no chance and that it would sell for $150
This very same card 1/2 sold for $695 back in Sept OUCH. I think this proves that if you buy product right when it comes out (combined with player hype that McKee may have been QB2)you overpay

I'm trying to think of the most money I've spent on a 3rd stringer. Taysom Hill maybe? How do McKee fans see it playing out for him to get into the back-up slot? I don't know Pickett's contract details or is the hope he wins the job outright? I am rooting for everyone on the train, maybe this one will break the Frenzy curse.

I think if Pickett gets in a game or a couple games, it will become clear he's not that good. Most reports out of training camp said that McKee had beaten him out for QB2, so I think Pickett is the default #2 because he was a 1st rounder. I think that Pickett could leave for a promise of a chance to start, or McKee could leave to be a clear #2

By the way RE: Pickett contract
"The 2024 season has been Pickett's first as a member of the Eagles. After this season, he has one more year left on a four-year deal worth just over $14 million"

Eagles are not paying him $14 mill for next season that much I know for sure

In fact, here is an article from a few days ago talking about moving Pickett

$14 million was the ENTIRE contract, not one season.

My bad, so 2.6 mill. They obviously like McKee just elevate the kid to #2, save a couple Million

I think the biggest source of hope is that he's clearly outplayed the veteran backups ahead of him in both training camps/preseasons.

As for the future, the hope is that he either becomes the #2 in a city that loves backup QBs more than any other fanbase or gets flipped for a draft pick and given a chance to compete somewhere else.

Admittedly the odds are never in someone's favor while looking for the next Brady/Romo/Purdy, but strangely extenuating circumstances like McKee's two-year mission and the disastrous offensive scheme change at Stanford seem like they might have created a perfect storm for a guy with top-of-draft talent to enter the league with zero fanfare.

Chicago.

Xzibit rapped it best, "cause tonight I might meet my next ex-wife."

The ex-wife in this example is the backup quarterback of the Bears. The thirst for Tyson Bagent is exceeding city limits. If fans or investors find out that it could be McKee instead of Bagent in there, Caleb will be looking for luxury condos in the Pittsburgh suburbs next spring.

The issue for McKee is he is an old school pocket passer with a big arm. For his size 6ft6, he can move around a bit, but isn't going to light it up with ground yards. That kind of QB is a dying breed in the NFL- everyone wants the QBs that can run around. I miss the days where a QB would stay back in the pocket and pick defenses apart. Not sure how many spots would want an old school QB like McKee. I think he may be better than anyone the Raiders have, anyone the Giants have, he may be better than Rodgers at this point, but all of these teams where he may be better than anyone they have are going to likely draft QBs. I think McKee's best bet is to entrench himself as a QB2 in Philly or somewhere else, and if he gets his number called, he has to step up

Bong rippers, crypto degenerates, and realtors agree: McKee could win a Super Bowl.

I kind of agree, not a big believer in Hurts. 16 passing TDs to 5 picks. 13 rushing TDs, 3 fumbles. I don't know how many rushing TDS currently are the results of the tush push, but at some point 8 of his first 11 were. Think about that 3/4 of his rushing TDs are tush push.
This guy is a one trick pony. Runs a lot and relies on tush push. I don't understand how teams haven't figured out how to stop that yet. If teams forced him into throwing the ball more, I think we'd see that he isn't that good
