Honestly surprised Gafford only got 16 minutes and basically played none of the 4th.

Why not run it back? Celtics would let him coast through regular season I'd bet. 9.5 million nothing to sneeze at, and unlike most of these guys at the end of their careers, he has an obvious role in the playoffs.

I'm more shocked THJ played 19 minutes.

Probably due to PJ's shooting woes.

I hope Luka throws down a 50 on Game 4 just to shoot an end match promo against this Pravda Bron handler

I love the fact that what he's really talking about is not complaining to the refs but how openly he's complaining to them.

Dude, your GOAT is breaking records on free throw differential at 40, do you think he's doing that without working the refs? Come on. I normally like Windhorst but this is a mask off moment for a lot of media.

They rolled those out in Indiana for the Pacers' wedding rehearsal ECF run and worked like a charm.

Dallas is soft, the west is charmin soft. Who would have thought Cleveland and Indiana would have played the Celtics tighter.

I like how the C’s keep getting votes now that they’re up 3-0.

It does help catch yourself when you feel like you are falling into that trap when it is a team you are rooting for.

Luka got a couple of no calls that should be fouls. A few that he complained about were correct no calls. The 6th foul block, looked like a blocking foul. I did think they would overturn just so Luka didn't get his 6th. That part surprised me. Maybe they were tired of his complaining and said to hell with it.

I agree that #6 was a blocking foul. I will admit though that I don't remember the last time a star player got called for 4 fouls in a 4th quarter, let alone a Finals game.

Luka aint it. You cannot have him out there playing worse defense than some G-Leaguer.

There's no way that 6th isn't a foul on someone. You don't just let two guys collide and hit the groud like that in open play and let the game go on.

It was either a foul on Luka or a foul on Brown.... and Luka's feet weren't set.

Anyways, if you are complaining about the refs in a series where the Celtics have won by 18, 7, and 7 points and are clearly the better team, I don't know what else to say.

What would have happened if the refs overturned it while the broadcast commentators were saying it was definitely a foul and showing the replay over and over and explaining how he didn't have his legs set? If they over turned it after looking at replays for five minutes then everyone would say the refs were trying to fix the outcome of the game. With how much scrunity the refs are under in the NBA for that kind of stuff it would look like the fix is in especially if the Mavs came back to win.

Unfortuantely for the Mavs that is what happens when Luka actually puts effort into defense. He's not good enough to stop anyone without fouling. I appreciate his effort on defense in the 4th but the Mavs are probably better off if he doesn't try to play defense and they just surround him with guys that are eltie defenders.
