You are not alone, my friend.

Prospecting can/will be brutal. But that's why it's essential you're a fan first before investor. Prices can (and have already) tanked, but I'm still a day one and will tune in to watch the Sabado Gigante $hitshow.

It keeps me grounded.

Ah well. Hoping it's just a few days at most.
He shouldn't have cocked it back. Gave Clarkson a chance, which he took advantage of.

Yeah. But that's kinda easy to say in retrospect. He had a breakaway that 99% of the time (especially considering who he is) would be uncontested or a clean flush.

Lesson learned (hopefully). Fortunately the Pels are so deep that they can probably weather the storm in his absence, as BI should be good to go. It's just frustrating.

There are players his weight that don't get injured. The problem is his acrobatic style of play at his weight.

I've repeatedly said that I didn't understand why he was focused on upper body during his rehab. Could have lost another 10-20 lbs. of muscle without losing strength (heavy weight, low reps) and been just as effective.

Ok …… how about this?
The Human Body was not designed to defy gravity and effortlessly float thru the air like Ja Morant at 300 pounds

Let's not forget the dislocated shoulder on the same play.

NBA is not even physical anymore.
Barkley somehow did ok with injuries.

Compare Barkley card prices to Zion (but you already know that). I'll wait. A HOF career isn't good enough compared to the prices Zion's cards are demanding.

Zion needs to average 40-15-8-3-3 over 15 seasons, along with 6-8 titles, in order to maintain the current prices.......

Well there you go. Charles Barkley career isn't good enough! That's my point, being a great HOF'er isn't good enough. If he's not Lebron, MJ or Kobe...people are going to lose a TON of money!

He'll need to be LeBron, MJ, Kobe, Russell, Abdul-Jabbar and Chamberlain all in one body.

This is what it takes to maintain $50 base Prizm rookies?

Bare minimum stats needed, yes.

I think the post MJ era is more receptive of having stars win 2-3 rings and 2-4 MVPs and still be collected.

Curry and Yanni are probably locks. Zion/LuLu/Ja need to shoot for Curry/Yanni. MJ ain't happening. Guess they could be LeBron and change teams every few years and #SQUADUP4RANGS

99% of his cards sell for crap.
Psa 9's prizms $50.

Barkley psa 9 fleer $800.
Barkley psa 6 sells for $150

Pop is not even low. 8500 all together.
They all sell better than 99% of zion cards.

the player needs to get lots of hardware and that didn't even work all that well for the likes of Shaq or TD apparently, philistines/flippers dominating the collecting world or . . . ?

edit: goshdarnit I should have figured something wasn't quite right when k13 is posting in the thread
