I know this GM angle is in place to keep an authority figure around, but as it's been mentioned, that authority figure is redundant when the actual Authority faction are playing major roles on weekly TV. HOPEFULLY, this would mean the end of Steph/Hunter as The Authority and instead, we get a new GM for Raw. But if this is not the case, then I hope that position stays empty until The Authority leave TV. In all honesty though, this looks like art imitating life. Who's really making the decisions at WWE? Is there one person of power or are there 15 cooks in the kitchen? With the jumbled storytelling as of late, it looks like RAW and real life aren't that far apart. I think WWE is just as confused (if not more) about their own product, as we are. |

I watched Main Event for the first time and honestly, I'm impressed by the show. 4 matches in 1 hour. Simple, gradual progression of current storylines. No comedy segments. No dancing contests. No unreal, played out soap opera dialog. Just old school wrestling matches and backstage interviews.
It's a novel concept they've got going there. I think I'm going to skip Raw and save myself several hours a week and keep up with WWE by way of Main Event, from now on. |

WWE is boring to me right now as well. the bray wyatt fued with cena has my attention, but that is about it! The 2 NXT'ers that came up recently were such a dud! Rusev was kinda interesting with Big E getting involved, but it wont last long.
I think evolution needs to stay together as I am bored to tears with the shield! Who is going to hold the title now that DB will be out? I hope it is not Cena! I dont think Roman Reigns or Bray are ready yet. I see HHH as the title holder until Daniel is back. I have WWE Network only for the PPV's, I will keep it a couple more months and probably stop it in the fall.

Punk pretty much admitted that he is retired from the WWE. Dang WWE is going to continue to suck.

He'll still be back. At some point (probably a year and a half from now or so) he'll wind up being a hypocrite and using the same system he was fighting against to his advantage. He'll wind up coming back just at the right time so that he can get the big returning star wrestlemania top match.

Hopefully! There was also a report stating the WWE added Punk and AJ to a Smackdown Taping on July 27th, but took it down straight after. |

2. Daniel Byan won't be stripped or lose the title. He'll be returning sooner than originally thought from what I've read. |

![]() Is there a chance he was saying it feels good doing charity work and he was actually blowing off the retirement question? |

Exactly. There's no such thing as a truly retired wrestler. You're never retired unless you're either physically handicapped to the point of no longer being able to move in the ring, or you're dead.

I think AJ may also be done tbh. She hasn't been on twitter since WM30. They could both be leaving.
I don't know tho |

Oh and what else would Punk actually be able to say? If he was to say that he isn't retired then he would get a lot more press and attention that he doesn't want.

One more shot if anyone's interested. Honky Tonk Man is gonna be signing in 2 weeks at a local store. I probably will be working that day, but otherwise it's free autographs at the signing, $10 dropoff at the store, or $15 if you mail it to them and provide return shipping.
