I think it obviously depends on the eye-appeal, especially being a raw copy. Assuming the centering isn't egregious and there are no noted surface issues or visible corner issues, I'd pay $110-120 in the current market. BGS/PSA 9's aren't going for much more than that, so personally, I'd pay a bit extra for a bit of peace of mind and get a graded version.

I was watching that one thinking if it was the right price I might pick up another of this card

As for the price, I think it's a few factors.

1. Item was in China. No doubt in my mind that stops a few bidders. Another Zion 9 recently sold for $1304 just over a week ago.

2. O&O PSA9s seem to sell for really low amounts compared to 10s, across the board. Ja PSA9s recently sold for $787 and $886, while a 10 went for $1850, and a raw went for $1250.

There's another Zion PSA9 and a BGS9.5 ending soon, so maybe they'll help establish a trend?

I think the above reasoning on one and one psa 9s selling relatively lower is a real thing, primarily because that product comes packaged in a one-touch holder. I feel like a lot of people would rather have an uncirculated card which you could at least rationalize might be a psa 10/bgs 9.5 vs. a card you know isn’t “perfect.” Not saying it makes sense, but that’s my suspicion.

Been a lot of them up for sale lately; same with Courtside Silvers. Too many at once driving prices down. It's a good time to buy if you're looking at those cards.

Seriously though big Z gotta be more aggressive, 2nd half was more like it. But its the one thing I think the Pellies just might be lacking throughout the season... a true PG that can get Zion 3 or 4 easy dunks a night

Feels weird even saying this with the stat line he put up last night being very good, but we have to remember he is still getting into game shape. The days of him completely taking over will come.

As far as the team as a whole, no worries at all. We have been without 2 of our important starters.

Last night was one of the worst loses I've ever seen. Pels were up 7 with under 25 seconds left. Up 3 and shooting 2 free throws with under 2 seconds. I'm sure a team here and there has blown a 7 point lead with under 25 seconds to lose. I don't think I've ever seen a team up 3 shooting 2 free throws with 1.6 seconds lose. Sure as hell have never seen both in the same game.

Quiet night offensively. But very good all around game and especially better with his defensive effort.

His stats should regress this year due to the sheer amount of talent and depth on this squad. 5th ranked in the league currently.

Lot to be bullish about if you're a fan of the team.

Valiant effort by the Pels last night on the 2nd night of back to back games. Team looked gassed once they pushed it to OT. Didn't like seeing Zion guarding Tre in the 4th and OT. This team is exposed at the point. Overall good showing for the big fella.

Swapping back and forth last night with the LSU game was rough. Anyways the Pels definitely showed some grit last night. Seems we need a closer and like many of commented-a true point guard. I thought to myself last night that Zion late had the hot hand-nobody was stopping him. I kept saying Feed the BEAST I feel better McCollum taking that last shot over BI also

Turnover laden night.

But that late 4th quarter BBW takeover made me nostalgia hard. Yet another should-have-been-win-turned-loss at the hands of sloppy execution down the stretch.

Luv me some CJ (probably the only other reason the Pels were in it), but he's prone to stretches of unnecessary, extended dribbling and ill-advised shot taking. When the coaching staff will finally realize that the critical situation offense should run through Zion is beyond me. He collapses the defense and makes shooters' lives easier.

Oh well. We're still so early into the season. I'm optimistic they'll work the kinks out.
