I like the way the Clemente came together. Besides "ooh, pretty colors!" there is almost a layering effect. P70 makes total sense now in light of topps going public. They made this set 620 cards more because they probably had some revenue growth target that they knew would need a bigger set since they won't ever replicate the surge from last year. However, I still think they're assuming the market for this is bigger than it really is. This isn't wax that always sells out now.

This Ruth is still tamer than I was expecting from Ron English.

Its certainly as weird as I was expecting, but at least Ruth isnt bleeding or has the lower half of his face ripped off.
