Honestly it’s cheap if comparing head to head with the Zion. I think the last one of those went for $27k... and don’t forget there are almost twice as many Zion horizontals than Luka

I think the reason for his bumps all around are due to direct comps with Zion

Had a /25 and a /49 of this card that I Ended up selling both for $8k combined. Sucks but I probably have $50k I’m Smaller Luka cards I reinvested the $$ into so I can’t be too upset!

Select Courtside Silver... one of the best Luka card images, and extremely rare. Also, becoming more well known and coveted.

Can't go wrong with either. If you're looking to keep these for awhile, I'd get the Prizm Blue. The Luka Prizm Blue and Blue Ice are one of the best-looking Prizms ever.

Maybe you can get a Prizm Blue and a base Select Courtside, which is still relatively rare.

That's a much better combo than the SCS and a base Prizm!

I have the base Courtside in PSA10, so I’m also tending for the blue, but it’s very close.

I just got my Obsidian back from grading. I didn’t realise how bad the centering is, but I’m still in love with this card. I’m wondering what might be the print run of the base version. Currently the total pop is 7 for BGS and PSA together.

From a investment/future price perspective, I think the prizm is the correct call here.

The major advantage the select card has is its rarity (lower supply), but at the end of the day market price is a function of (not just low supply but) high demand as well. And the prices being at parity already have shown that the prizm has something unique (main desired brand? matching color? iconic pose/look/base card?) that has created enough demand to make up for what amounts to just a lower PR.

I’m not sure prizm shows signs of future weakness as a brand. There’s always a strong and vocal following saying optic looks better and has lower print runs, or something similar to that effect with select. But then you see the prices after release and prizm always sells for more and gets more attention/demand.

Unless select somehow becomes the go-to brand (demand) or something happens to change one of the cards’ PR (supply), in my opinion, the blue prizm is the one to have.

The blue is the preview from chronicles and the black jersey is from the actual product and they are rare.
