Please no CF for Soto! We do NOT need his WAR getting chopped due to mediocre fielding skills. He's finally becoming an adequate LF'er. Please don't switch. I hope someone is just spreading an annoying rumor.

Nats gave him some time last year in RF and were apparently pleased with the results

Don't worry about that. Robles as the whole outfield covered.

'54 has always been one of my favorite sets, so this was one of the first Sotos (and TBT sets) I ever hoarded. Still a big fan of it, though it hasn't really tracked the dollar value rise of other offerings

There were some great TBT Soto rookies--I bet these become more popular as people are priced out of some of the other rookies. Nice designs and lower print runs will go a long way. I just wish they had included in the 1986 design set.

I hated '86 when I was a kid for some reason but love it now.

The Soto would be pretty pricey already if he were in that TBT set (even though Topps f'd up the font on them).

I have a couple of poorly centered Acunas from the '86, and they were always hard to find after I got back in the hobby (even though a similar PR to the '54s). Far fewer sellers vs the '54 set (where I was still getting complete sets in June '19 for under $30)

Juan “Gone Shuffling” Soto’s only affordable MLB rookie in psa 10 will be his Topps Living Set card. It’s a nice looking card though.

Neal,

That is my card. I hoping to move it this weekend so I'm fielding offers!
Got a couple here and a couple offers on other boards. Hope all is well!

Acuna made the wrong move signing early.

Soto is probably going to look for 6-8 years so he can get another contract in the middle of his prime. Hope he gets $40M a year.

My Bravos killed it w/ signing Albies and Acuna both for mere peanuts. Wrong move for both Acuna and Albies IMO, but an incredible move by the Braves.

Nice collection

I’ve always loved the TBT cards and he only has three of them (besides the 2 with Acuna) I’ve picked up a bunch of them recently because of the look and low print runs.

The PSA 10 of the 54’ just went for $275..prices have been skyrocketing it’s unbelievable

His 2020 Bowman’s Best Franchise Favorites super (non-auto) just ended at little over $1K...
It was around $425 till last 10 seconds or so, and then jumped all the way to the final price.
I was ready to bid a bit over $500, but guess I had no shot at all lol

A little self-promotion/spam; I listed a 2018 3D PSA 10 in the B/S/T if anyone is in the market for one. Putting together some funds for a run at a PC card and have a 3D to spare.

I never paid attention to them, but the Heritage PSA 10's are now over $100. These were $20-$30 tops for the longest time, and nobody discussed them being a good rookie to pick up. Wish I bought more than my 1.
