A few new Supers added to the bottom of the list on Page 300. I'll update it on page 320. Cain, Chavis and Alzolay.

Additionally, the Gold Refractor set was published in the PSA Set Registry. I added the one gold card I had. Since I happened to have a few PSA Refractors, I sent a request form to have that parallel set added to the Registry as well. Definitely not something I'm interested in spending high grading fees for unless I hit the lotto but figured why not. I now have BGS and SGC graded refractors, I just need a CSG one now.

Good luck with the request! I had that request for the Gold Refractor Set finally listed. I did it in December so 7 months later here we are. I chatted with one of the Registry clerks and she did say it was very busy and the backlogs were crazy so definitely expect to wait more than a few months.

Figured it was you, congratulations on your start. It was a tall task assembling a raw refractor set, I can’t imagine a graded gold set. What five cards did you start the set with? I also noticed the weights were slightly off, I’m curious if they adjust them over time? Ohtani is only a 3.0 and Vlad Jr a 2.0. There were a few I thought should be higher. FYI, I sent a Luzardo Gold in for replacement from Topps and they sent me back a Berrios refractor. Topps sucks sometimes. So only 49 total sets available. Haha

Thanks. Definitely not going to be an easy task but I feel it might be worth the chase as the set has plenty of emerging stars and hopefully a well panned out rookie class. I’m sure the 22’ set will be a fun one too if it ever gets released!

I remember waiting until PSA had their specials for $6 back in the day. Here I am 10 years later and all those cards are still sitting in a box. Ha. I'd consider it at the price range but that's still pretty high. I hope that PSA understands the registry is what drives a lot of collections and if they dont get prices down for commons, it'll slowly die out over time.

Didn't go after the 2021 boxes or breaks but got bored and went through all the comments and decided to see what happened with a box off eBay for a little over retail.

1.) As a Trout collector, I noticed there were very few of his autos that were posted here, on IG, or listed on eBay. With it being a redemption, any chance he didn't sign all the colors?
I saw no base or aqua and only one gold, two orange, and two red.
Also wondering if being a redemption will lower the unopened value once it expires.

2.) Definitely more hits in 2021 per box.

2020 started with 5 parallels (refractor, gold, black, red, super). 2021 added prisms. How many do you think they add this year?

The talk is definitely the rookie class and their autos but I'm excited about Ruth, Robinson, Teddy Ballgame and Satchell Paige being in the set. Very, very well-balanced set and I'm glad to see the inserts.

Also, if you had autographed rookie cards you were looking for from 2020/2021, this might be a good time to pick them up. JRod,Wander and Witt could be the catalyst to see others rise.

First new parallel (stolen from eBay): Rose gold /15




Cardboard Connection is also now listing a Protector parallel /10. Aside from parallel inflation, I'm looking forward to seeing how those look, fun callback to 90s Finest for sure. So barring any additional parallels, looks like there are 2 added this year

I didn't realize they're also including a few insert sets this year as well. I gotta say I find it kinda frustrating that they're doing the exact same thing with this set they've done with everything else in adding parallel after parallel and printing to the moon. A big reason I loved the 2020 set was the simplicity of just the base set and a few parallels. The set is really losing the appeal of wanting to go all out in building the Twins master set like I've done for the 2020 set

Still, I have to admit, the cards look nice. It's a common back and forth I have, being annoyed at so many unnecessary sets and pointless parallels. But a lot of them look nice It is what it is, just gotta remind yourself to collect what you like and try not to worry about the things you can't control

It's so you can handwrite their nickname. Seriously though, it looks like they used the "wrap text" or a similar option in the editing software and didn't know how to change it.

I’m not part of MC so I was a little surprised there were still plenty of boxes on Thursday. I was excited to be able to order from Topps instead of buying aftermarket as this is the only wax I open.
Wondering if they increased the print run or it just hasn’t caught fire yet.
A couple videos on YT and boxes seem loaded again this year.
Excited to watch and see how everyone does.
