This has been one crazy year.

I was listening to MMA hour and Ariel made a fun point.

If you told an MMA fan in 2018 that your champs would include Charly Olives, Glover, Moreno and Pena, how many people would have believed you?

Its MMA, everyone is wrong often. Its what makes the sport incredibly fun. Its like the game of thrones of sports.

Your take of blaming COVID-19 as the reason Panini has so many sticker autos in their UFC products was fairly dumb and poorly thought out as well.

Just straight overwhelmed him. I still think Daukaus can be good but the small cage and the fact he’s a relatively small Heavyweight did him no favors in keeping Lewis off of him once he got going. Way to go Black Beast.

He has a pretty interesting story - former Philly cop turned professional MMA fighter. I'll probably try to pickup a couple of his 2022 Prizm rookie cards next year.

Haha I did notice he said he was clean too when they mentioned he passed Belfort and Brown. Everyone knows about Belfort but I don’t remember Matt Brown having any PED related issues?

I'm think I'm going Gane too. I'm imagining Gane piecing him up technically like he did the Black Beast.

So probably means Francis is going to clobber him to the moon.

Can't wait though! Feel like the fight isn't getting the hype it deserves.

Probably 50/50. I think Gane plays it safe and puts on a kickboxing clinic en route to a decision. But then again I could see him getting him out of there late in the fight if Ngannou gasses like he did in the first Miocic fight.

Just takes one touch from Ngannou, though, and it's lights out.

The way I view it is, my Gane Select Blue Disco and Select Red Disco will benefit from a win. But I am a big Ngannou fan, so hard to root against him. Either way, I win

Impressive win by Ngannou. Taking it to the mat and beating Gane at this own game shows how much Ngannou has improved as an overall mixed martial artist.

Yep lol - Ngannou won with his grappling...never thought I'd see the day.

Gane had complete top control there in round 5, but then went for a leg lock for some reason - may have cost him the fight.
