Here’s my contribution for Ichiro’s HOF announcement today. This is my favorite non-card Ichiro item I own. This was release in 2002, the year after Ichiro’s rookie season. I remember seeing this for sale at the Seattle Mariners Team Shop when it came out. I wanted it so bad, but my poor college student bank account couldn’t afford it. A few years ago, one popped on eBay for a very reasonable price and I immediately snagged it. It now hangs on my wall in my man-cave.

At the time, Ichiro had an exclusive contract with Upper Deck. Upper Deck released this framed Ichiro autograph. Ichiro’s autograph has changed a lot through the years. I love how this has his early MLB auto, which matches his 2001 auto cards.

Nice. His 2 best cards outside his 1 of 1 logomans from 04 SP GU. Imo.

His 1993 blue wave players card rookie would round out my top 3.
