Unpopular opinion, but the way to make money from this is to buy the cheaper versions of the stars rather than buying a five figure/rare one with little to no price history. Those $100k buys could be big winners in the future, if this thing blows up. But the easier money to be made (IMO) is to just ride the wave of new people coming into this and buy/hold a stack of $500 Lebron/Giannis/Luka commons that have been doubling in price every day or two this past week.

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion at all. If you’re in the discord with us “normal” folk, nobody is talking about the uber-rare stuff. Any common superstar is currently still a good buy.

Click on "marketplace" at the top. I'd search by player then. Click on one of the 'moments' shown in the results. Then you pick which serial # of the moment you want to buy. Click "buy for ____", then you take care of payment on the next page. If you're using a credit card, just a head's up that your payment is probably going to get rejected by the cc company, but after you confirm it's a valid charge, then it goes through just fine. Or you can pay with crypto.

It’s a lot of pumping but it gives a good sense on how the market is forming. You can block the pumpers pretty easily so it can be a pretty decent place.

Yeah I've mostly just been winging it myself, but I just got the discord link to finally work for me. Most annoying thing so far is the payments. I keep hitting Dapper's daily credit card limit for buys; so I've had to do crypto, which is fine but would rather just use a credit card. Pretty fun so far though.

It's been pretty interesting to witness - ended up buying a Series 2 pack recently after publicly stating that I wouldn't (out of sheer curiosity).

Who knows really. I personally am not a digital collector but I can’t ignore the obvious market for it. No disrespect to anyone in the discord but I can tell they are young. And they get REALLY excited by “lit” highlights. I think digital cards will die off but digital clips like these are here to stay. Just going to ride the wave and see where she goes.

This is my first day looking at this thread. I don't get it at all and think paying any money at all, let alone $100K, for a gif is insane.

That said, if this somehow sustains for a while, I think there will be a lot of million dollar actual cards. At minimum, the crazy increase in recent prices might just be the beginning.

What’s their daily credit card limit? I have only been buying a small amount (19 moments for about $120) all on a CC. Curious if it’s a Dapper imposed daily limit or from the credit card issuer? Thx

It's somewhere between $7,000-7,500 per day with a credit card. Definitely a Dapper limit, not the cc issuer itself. Seems to be unlimited with crypto.

I was in this camp until I read into them. They're technically "Ethereum Functional Tokens" aka "EFTs" so basically what Panini Blockchain wants to be. I'm not sure if these have a future 10 years out, but I know the Crypto Market and I want some Now for the immediate future- these will more than likely pump even more when they're widely known in the CC Communities.

So sure, you can save the file on your computer just like you can copy a picture of Bitcoin Clipart but its 100% not the same

Of course deposits are unlimited with crypto. They know the money they're currently withholding from their customers (interest free) will be worth approximately 20-40 percent more by the time people are able to cash out en mass.
