Unexpected deaths happen sometimes. I saw he was checked out for “bronchitis” there? Could have had a cough from a PTE that he developed flying over there. Cough gets misdiagnosed, and he’s dead.

With that being said, the death is suspicious for obvious reasons. Need to get the body back here ASAP for a proper autopsy.

Wow, had no idea about Wahl. RIP. I don't want to jump into any conclusions but I hope the body can return fast enough for an autopsy. This is a WTF death out of nowhere.

About the game, so many mixed feelings. Happy for Messi (can't believe anyone is criticizing him for lack of sportsmanship, lol) but even with everything said, pretty classless celebration by Otamendi and a few more.

"My body finally broke down on me. Three weeks of little sleep, high stress and lots of work can do that to you,'' Wahl wrote. "What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort."

It would surprise me to learn Wah's passing was anything but natural. Sad to hear but there will be comfort for his family knowing he was doing what he loved.

Podcast comment? Hearing that, I can almost guarantee you it was a PTE. Classic symptoms. Could have been primary cardiac in nature as well (like a post viral cardiomyopathy), but not as common as a PTE. Just terrible because it’s easily treated if diagnosed.

Sounds like he was having some health issues. Wonder what caused his chest issues

I think this is the right approach. Healthy 48 year old, except for this seemingly minor cough. Look at it out of context and it’s nothing- somewhat rare but happens from time to time.

Take into account the situation of the last few weeks and it’s reasonable for suspect that something more is at play. We can have suspicions of foul play and not jump to conclusions either - the circumstances should dictate an immediate investigation to get to the bottom of it.

CBS reporting heart attack during extra time so who know what all was going on with him or if this was related to the cough and chest problems.

Good on Morocco. Well played and Portugal just looked horrible.

Morocco- Croatia final. Neither team would know what to do. Both teams retreat to their respective boxes, ball sits untouched in middle circle for 120 minutes as each teams waits patiently for shootout to start.

I started watching the POR/MOR game in the 2nd half (as soon as Ronaldo came on). The Portuguese must've had ball possession like 95% of that half. The Arabs played D the whole time. It was pathetic that the Portuguese went scoreless the whole game!
