Maybe just DH him and not let him play OF for the rest of the year. That should make it easier on his foot.

Not gonna happen, Ohtani will be riding the pine in that scenario.

ROTOWORLD:

Mike Trout (foot) is not in the Angels' starting lineup Tuesday night against the Indians.

Trout underwent a minor cryoablation procedure on Monday morning to address a neuroma in his right foot and he could be sidelined for much of this week. Justin Upton, Brian Goodwin, and Kole Calhoun are starting across the outfield for the Angels on Tuesday versus Cleveland.

I say just rest him the rest of the season. No need for a premature return and he aggravates it

Exactly....this is what happens when you play for a crapola team with nothing on the line.....he can afford to sit out because ....who cares? If he was in a pennant race you can bet your ass they would be shooting him up with painkillers to get him out there and maybe he bats horribly last 20 games because of the injury. He has to play the last 3 weeks or most of it to be considered for mvp. Handful of worthy guys are still busting it everyday to improve their teams position or to make the playoffs.

They said it can't get worse by playing with it. I'm all for stars playing thru stuff like that for the fans. Who are the fans going to games to see. Trout.

Accidents happen- no one is immune. Could be worse- look at what happened to Yelich tonight.

20 games left ?

If he plays 10-15 or 0

I would be shocked if he did not win mvp

Who said that? Discomfort alters normal mechanics. Altered mechanics lead to other injuries.

So yeah, playing with a small neuroma in his foot is not going to further worsen the neuroma. But maybe he injures his other foot, or ankle, or knee because he doesn't run like he's used to.

Thanks! The seller & I follow each other on Instagram. She sold it to me for only $95, which I thought was a good deal for a black refractor and numbered to /99.

Really not to concerned about the HR race, but the MVP is a bigger deal.

I am afraid if he misses too much more time he will lose the MVP to Bregman.

Hope not, but the concern is growing.

Love the black and I think the price is fair. I bought my 9.5 back in April for $165

Metrics, that's at least your 2nd one, maybe more?

I also have his 2014 Topps Sabermetrics. They’re pretty rare, but not desired. I actually found this one on COMC for $22.
