That seems high to me I sold a pristine for 7777 like a month ago.... but luka is going nuts so I guess it is legit.

I know Dominion doesn't get any love, but I won a BGS 8.5 Dominion on-card auto /49 for under $600 last night. I'll take that all day over 2 raw Prizm rookies.

The rare stuff has almost disappeared from eBay...consider the much talked about blues from chronicles, specifically the Crusade, Phoenix, Elite and Studio.

Phoenix ——zero
Crusade—-zero
Elite..... one and is is priced double what a PSA 9 sold for (almost hit that one)
Studio—— One at auction and one way way way too high, but that one is rare too)

I know the Phoenix Blue discussion led to many grabbing one here. How about the rosacea and Elites? I already had mine and they are both Gem.

Anyone know the print run, roughly, on the Status Blues #172?

Not seeing many surface. PSA has 29 graded and BGS has 12.

Many of those can be the same one as folks do cross overs and pop reports don't update to remove.

Just curious.

Seems like most of those shiny blue chronicles are in the hands of collectors (half are probably owned by people on BO) so they are probably not selling for a loooonnng time. I know my low #d chronicles (blue and green) are probably going to be some of the last cards I'd sell.

That's the Target hanger parallel. Can't calculate a PR because there isn't a numbered card specific to that format. Blue RC comes two per hanger. The vets are actually much rarer as your third blue is either an insert or a vet.

Question for other Luka collectors - do you value non "Lulu" autos higher than the Lulu ones or do you base value on the set and just ignore non Lulu autos or do you not care and will take anything Lulu or other?

I've been looking to add a Luka auto to my collection for a while and the other day won an auction for an on card non lulu auto /99 at around $900 - probably an overpay but it checked all the boxes that I needed it to check. By comparison some higher end product auto's sell for $600 - $800 for on card auto's some with lower print runs but they are the "Lulu" auto - just wondering what peoples thoughts are on his autos basically.

Rookies and stars
Classic
Essentials
Marquee
Chronicle chrome (at PSA)
Crusade (BGS 9.5)
Elite (PSA 10)

And those will be the last cards I move as Luka continues to increase in price. There will come a day that the Raw versions of all blues will be $500+

I still do not own a Luka auto, mainly because of the “lulu” controversy. I just stick with the non-auto stuff.

It took me a LONG time to finally bit the bullet but this is the one I picked up and will likely be the one and only Luka auto I own - I'd rather keep adding more non-auto stuff.

I'm in this boat now. I also generally don't do autos, but there is a small handful of Luka's that I would consider. I think there's a realistic chance we don't get new Panini Luka autos for awhile. Maybe ever.

No, I have collected auto's for a long time and some players signatures can change due to many factors, different pens, different surfaces, how many they have signed, time of day, in-season/ out-of-season, summer/winter, outside wind speed, standing/setting, how nice you are to them, if they have taken their meds, how many people are asking, if there getting paid or if its a free signing, if they have made it big, if there eating with their other hand, if your a hot chick, etc. etc. etc.

*There are the rare players that their signature is the same no matter what.

It comes down to how much you trust panini's COA printed on the card!
