Montas is in? Boone really wants to get blown out in this game.

F Boone. You're an idiot and shouldn't be managing a game of two year old's playing jacks.

We tried to get Castillo. There's no way we would have beaten Seattle's deal unless we unloaded Volpe, Peraza, Waldichuk, and another prospect.

Besides, he split in his post season starts.

Why the heck was a pinch runner not sent in for Stanton?

Judge will be retired before most of these prospects can actually contribute if ever.

I would say Cabrera has already contributed this year and my guess is Volpe will be the starting SS in 2024.

Why IKF at third? Why do people keep insisting to move a SS who has next to nothing on his throws and move him to a base requiring even longer throws?

If you put Cabrera in now, you can't have him hit for Trevino in the 9th.

No need to put Cabrera in that inning at all.

Then what did you want defensively? Peraza at third?

If you are going for defense, there is no need to take Donaldson out. If you want offense, Peraza nor Cabrera are necessarily better than Donaldson. And IKF definitely sucks even more defensively if you move him to third.

And Cabrera doesn't even hit for Trevino. Lol. Boone makes no sense.

Serious question

What experience or qualifications did Aaron Boone have to be considered to be a manager of a Major League Baseball team ?

Most replies were look he won 100+ games in his first 2 years at the helm and had the Yankees in contention to win a WS….

A monkey throwing darts at a dartboard would have had the same results with the teams he had

It’s not like he’s a innovative manager, an inspiration / motivator in the locker room

He’s questionable in his use of his starting pitchers and bullpen

I just don’t get the confidence of having him being manager of the Yankees

Let's be honest though most MLB managers are terrible. I mean Francona started Civale over Bieber.

I never understand what they are thinking. They blow their load to analytics over common sense way too often.

Snitker is a bad manager too for Atlanta and he won a WS. So yes Boone is trash. But it's not his fault this team chokes at the plate against Houston.

That's on Cashman.

Cashman gave Boone one of those restauarant buzzer things. It went off and read "Pitch Montas. I traded for him."
