Not sure what the market size of NY has to do with Voit, Gio and Tauchman performing so well...

Urshela cost the Yankees 4.5% of what the current MLB minimum salary is.

Nor what any of this has to do with Trout. Take this over to a yankee homer thread.

Speaking of Trout -- any word on whether he will actually be back today?

He better be in the lineup swinging that fricking bat like a madman, so help me...

For f$@ks sake. It’s just a dam toe. Kidding — I know first hand toe injuries hurt like a mother. And they seem to take forever to heal ‘cause you have to walk on a daily basis, which only prolongs recovery.

I’m not going to jinx it again, so I won’t say anything else until Trout actually gets up to bat. I’ve learned my lesson last time when I announced he was in the lineup before the game started.. then he was out the next few games.

Is it just me, or does this look nothing like Trout’s autograph?

He would have been what, 18, in 2009? Probably shortened his signature when he realized he would be signing it a million times.

Since it’s on an unlisensed product I thought maybe some shenanigans were going down.

ETA — just compared the auto to his 2009 Bowman Chrome and Sterling autos and still look completely different. I dunno...

That was his full autograph right after he was drafted. After some time, his autograph started changing and getting shorter. Here’s mine with his early autographs:

Great to know, Reggie. I should have known the resident Trout expert would set me straight. And with examples from his own PC to boot! I might actually bid on it now. Thanks!
