You scared me! I thought it was going to be a news item about Bichette signing an exclusive deal with Panini, or something.

We just need to be a little more patient, apparently...

Oh yes, we've all been hit with the sub request and most of us are standing firm.

Got to assume between Topps bugging the 22 year old and money to get paid its going to happen at some point before next season, or so I tell myself. But with somewhat recent product having his auto's I'm not freaked out there is some hold out or legal issue, just a lazy procrastinating kid more interested in video games and tail then sitting to sign cardboard for hours on end.

Ok, I think we've all said everything there is to say about the matter until it resolves itself, so hopefully new folks actually read before posting their complaints... ahhh i make myself laugh!

Oh and I'm sticking this here for no particular reason; my instagram for anyone who cares since posting pictures here results in giant obnoxious files:

Bichette TC Black base up to $89 with 7 hours left.

For a base card!?!?! I can't tell if TC Black is going to be highly desirable down the road, or if it will just fade into another release.

Thanks - I sent it in with the very faint hope that they can replace it. It was really in bad shape, I doubt it would be a PSA 8, and if they say it would then I guess they'll send it back to me, right?

I can always try to flip on ebay/COMC but I want to think I have ethics. There are way too many people who post garbage singles out there that won't grade and aren't disclosed in their description.

They are probably the best base cards printed this year and fewer copies than just about every release

near mint is actually PSA 7, but sounds like it's that bad either way.

Yes on raw singles. That's why I try to grade even higher end PC cards. While I don't plan to liquidate soon, if that day comes, they would be commoditized to sell with minimal issue. Plus it displays better.

I mean ya they're nice... but they're not THAT limited. If I was going to spend close to $100 for a base, I'd just go buy the refractor #/199 for 149.95. I haven't seen these in hand, but I think the refractor is going to look a lot nicer and is quite a bit more limited too.

The Bowman Sterling, Stadium Club and TC Sapphire factions might not fully agree with this statement.

It’s a super-pack product, so print run doesn’t necessarily work in its favor. It works somewhat for Bowman Sterling, but not for Tribute, for instance.

I'd argue that it's better looking card overall than all of the ones you listed. Bowman Sterling? Better than Topps Chrome Black?

I have never heard the term super pack can you elaborate?

I personally dont really like the TC Black Bo. Maybe it looks better in hand? Fortunately there is wayyy more than enough product out there to collect what you like.

Absolutely. And especially when you get into the parallels.

The TC Black looks like an insert set to me. And the triangular prism background looks like a weird mesh netting. It’s particularly hokey on the parallels.

A super pack is a box that is effectively a single pack that costs $50 or more (probably more like $100 or more now) and carries the expectation of a big hit (usually a guaranteed autograph, at the least).

It’s a different experience that busting boxes of flagship or Topps Chrome or Stadium Club, and facing long odds to pull the really good stuff.

Did anyone on here win the Finest Flashback refractor tonight?

I was in the midst of toddler bath-time n’ tantrums when it closed for just $343. That’s a steal.

Here. Also had toddler duty and slapped him in a high chair and gave him baby cookies and milk till the auction ended. All bases covered! First world problems of a collector...

Hoping it's as clean as it looks.

Ha, totally a first-world problem. Since I didn’t win it, I should probably do what I should’ve been doing in the first place and make a donation to the local food bank...

I feel like the canadian is still a fine card, as the image is different, and a good one at that. I was expecting to be like "cool!" When putting the indie/UK side by side, but I immediately had a conflicting "this is overkill, Topps" feeling. Eh.

That reminds me... I keep meaning to start a “Topps overkill” thread, to discuss the abundance of flagship parallels and derivatives.

It looked good from the scans except the top right corner looked strange to me. I thought about going higher but figured it was one or two of you guys on here bidding also. Fortunately for your pocket book I picked one up last week.

Meh, 33% working out training, 66% goofing off doing whatever, 1% posting picture of himself working out or goofing off on social media
