So I personally pulled this redemption of Optic Contenders auto last year and just recently decided to get it graded. I had sent it to ClayCards to review and he suggested to not submit it, I asked him to ship it back to me. I reviewed it over and over, decided I'll just crack it and send it BGS to grade.

Well, after opening it and inspecting it, I found a crease on the bottom left corner on the back. I really couldn't see it in the one-touch but it wasn't until I checked my scans that I took before sending to Clay is where I finally saw where the damage occurred. Looks like Panini closed the cover with the card not set correctly I'm still going to send it into Panini replacements and hope they can replace, not keeping my hopes too high since the seal is broken. I also have video proof when I first received the card from Panini, I just hope it's enough to replace it.

Has anyone run into an issue like this before?

My only Luka Auto. Pulled this out of 2 $60 boxes around release and held onto it.

Personally I would get someone on the phone and ask your options. They're really not obligated to do anything and at this point they may send you back something far less desirable/valuable in it's place.

Got a Trae Contenders Finals Ticket redemption, took monthas to get get it. Card showed up with four badly dinged corners. Ended up just selling it for a big discount, instead of dealing with a replacement.

Phoenix and Crusade still in the product.

AND...

There's silver versions of each.

AND...

LeBron, Giannis, Steph, and LUKA are included on the checklist for every product.

Excuse me while I start saving to buy ALL of the silver Luka Crusades and Phoenix.

I'm guessing Luka 18-19 Phoenix/Crusade is about to get a huge bump when this stuff releases.

I just recently started grading and legitimately think this may pull a pristine. Scared to death to put this in the mail though... Does BGS offer a 'watch it get graded-same day' service!?!?!

Yes, you and I know we were both chasing this card big time! We probably busted more chronicles retail than anyone else! Haha.

It popped up on ebay early last week and I had remembered it being pulled and posted in this exact thread last Julyish. I had tried to buy it then but he wasnt selling. So reached out to him here as soon as it popped up and snagged post-haste. Got a Crusade pink along with it too.

You know you have an unhealthy card habit when a shiny piece of cardboard gives you this much satisfaction... haha

Well I just got both my pickups in the mail today. While not a perfect match, I feel like this parallel which is somewhat in line with team colors seemed a bit undervalued. Hopefully it pans out.

I got that one, at the time I was sweating dropping that much for it. It’s centering probably won’t get it a 10 but I’m not a frequent grader anyway. I just wanted it as a low print run rc for my collection.

those are awesome.... back in nov i bought the red psa 10 for $299, the white psa 10 for $749 and the green psa 10 for $799.....

annnnnnnd i sold them along with a bunch of other high end (2 blue prizm psa 10, psa 10 copper, ect) in march lol

what are u gonna do made about $12k total, but just added up now what i sold in march and it would be $100k-$110k... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
