All the other designs are meh...virtually identical to every other shiny card produced during the mid/late 90's.

After 1993, it's just personal preference. I think I like this design better than the two previous. I do find the refractors appealing and will likely buy the big guns this year in Carroll, Adley, Volpe, Gunnar and Moreno.

How are you getting it down to $180? It seems to be excluded from the coupon code they're advertising on the site.

Same here as soon as I add to cart, it goes back to 240.

At 180, plus gift cards from Sam's club gets these down to reasonable levels (not great, but better than 240 a box).

Bought 2 boxes of 2021 for "Black November" last week. They arrived today and I had some nice fortune that includes a superfractor.

Attached are two pictures. One of the six highlight cards including the super. One of just the super.

Great example of the popularity of the 2020 set is today's sale of the Austin Meadows super on Ebay.

Nearly $550.

Granted. PSA 10. But still, Austin Meadows.

There are clearly some people out there trying to get any super from this set they can get and are willing to open the wallet to do it.

I was out very early. There is always a hope nobody cares about them but they are just too beautiful to pass up. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but being from the 2020 pandemic also makes a big difference IMO. If I'm not mistaken, this set came out at the very start of it. It'll be a few years before we see the 1993 design again in a full set.

2020 FF is king. I collect Ohtani and the inaugural set parallels are worth 4-5x the counterparts of other years. I auto-buy any undamaged refractor (NM+) under ~$300 and 4-500 for gold.

Totally. One of my favorite purchases of the last few years is snagging the Khris Davis super on like the first or second day these were on the market.

They were just starting to get opened and the Davis was one of the first supers to hit Ebay with a BIN and I snagged it for $125 and never looked back.

Such a great set.

I like 2021 as well. Oddly enough, I have the Meadows super from it. But it's no 2020

A little update on the 2020 set. Singles are definitely flat with commons consistently selling between $4-$7. The two top dogs in 2020 have fallen drastically with Mike Trout and Luis Robert at roughly 25%-35% of where they were at. Mookie, Soto, Posey and Yordan are roughly the same price zone less 20%. The new top dog is Ohtani going from about $60 in 2020 to over $300 now. Boxes were being clearanced out a year ago for a shade under $280 and are now consistently selling for about $400. The Brandon Belt and Mitch Keller Supers showed up on the PSA pop report. A few have sold at auction recently for $276(Dahl and Simmons) with Best Offers accepted of $400 and $300 for Yelich and Merrifield respectively. The Yelich was a steal. Post that at $600 and it probably gets snatched up quickly. In graded form, the demand is limited with Mint commons barely getting the grading fee back and 10's maybe getting 2x. There are some anomalies but just not enough to make it seemingly worthwhile. Still a great set and it seems there will be about 20 plus Hall of Famers with a few Rookies still on the path. It still shocks me the 1993 set has 36 which doesn't include the steroid era guys so pushing almost 45.

Anyway, I decided to grab a random box to open from my closet because why not? It was a 2021 Finest Flashbacks box. It was an incredibly loaded box. 2 refractors, 1 gold #/50, 1 black #/25, and 2 red #/5!

Not the craziest names, but I was shocked with all the color when I remember it being 1-2 refractors per box.




Then to top it off, I hit this one and it took me completely by surprise!

I didn't even see McGwire on the buyback checklist!

Probably going to have to wait until 2028 to celebrate 35 years or 2033 to celebrate 40. They really should do both though.

Now they could just release a stand alone Legends set with only players that haven't been in either set. Pretty sure almost every HOFer from 1974 forward was in the 1993 set. I think that could hold its own if they add Negro League Players, Pete Rose, Ichiro and similar. Throw in an awesome auto checklist and they got something that would sell out.

Does anyone recall where the Trout ended? Been a while and I couldn't locate sale on eBay or 130point.
