If he's a CF that would help. If he plays RF, he still needs to hit a ton of home runs. And again, I still think he's a very good baseball player. I'm referring mostly to hobby good.

Sophomore slump year after being on pace for 60 dingers in his abbreviated ROY?
Solid buying opportunity long term. |

With all the home runs his rookie year, its easy to forget he is also the fastest runner on the Dodgers and one of their best defenders as well. Huge upside. I remember putting his Heritage rookies I pulled in the same pile as Judge because I thought he was at that level but he is not hobby popular.
Now I have them in the same pile with Ian Happ. |

I wonder what trout would be worth if he finally ever wins a playoff game or gets to a WS. |

Maybe real baseball is more forgiving, but a guy that hits .270 with 25 home runs, strikes out 150 times and doesn't have a definitive position just isn't 'sexy.'
He's only 23, so he has potential to bounce back in the hobby - but he'd have to hit .320, with 30 home runs, 30 steals five years in a row, while being the best player on a Dodgers World Series winning run at least once or twice. |

We all wonder that. Bellinger in two seasons has been to the World Series twice. Trout in just over seven seasons has never won a playoff game. Baseball is a crazy game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
