Agreed. Vols have nobody to blame but themselves. Have to double team Cline late in that game instead of giving him those wide open looks, and just a stupid foul in the corner. Not the brightest team. Also taking 2 pointers down 6 with under 20 secs left....smh

I originally thought it was off his leg but replays show it wasn’t unfortunately (I had Tennessee in the final four). The foul is tough. Edwards admitted he kicked out his leg to draw contact (he had been doing it all game, thank you James harden) which is an offensive foul but he did get closed out on and wasn’t able to land cleanly which is a foul. Contact was initiated with his leg but the foul was the contact followed through his hip. It could have been called either way and you could have argued both ways. Unfortunately the defence usually loses the close calls like that. Personally I hate, hate the leg kick to draw contact. I think it should be called more. Not only as an offensive foul but an intentional offensive foul that’s a turnover and one foul shot but that’s my personal opinion.

The missed call that puzzled me the most is the time they gave Tennessee after the timeout. It was clear on the replay that he was clearly signaling with 0.8 seconds left and they still only gave them 0.01. That’s huge! A potential catch and shoot to a prayer tip in. Why even go to the replay if you aren’t going to make it right

Plus the 3-tenths that ran off before the first guy even touched the ball. I was in agreement with all the other calls, but this was bizarre. Poor game management there.

Some big boy basketball tonight! Exciting matchups in all 4 games. Well VTech isn’t too exciting but they can pull a UCF and compete if Duke can’t hit outside shots as usual.

Vtech beat Duke (minus Zion) last month. Duke shot 33% from 3 and Vtech shot 30%. Duke's inability to shoot from the outside is what allows teams to stay in games. Would certainly have to lean Duke with Zion on the court but you are right, IF Duke has a normal game from outside (not an exceptional game like they had against UCF) it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Vtech win.

UT played horrific defense. That is why they lost. Wide open looks all game long. Open paths to the hoop. Barnes never changed a thing. Or their players were too stupid to change what he was asking them to.

Still, Purdue tried to give them the game with equally appalling defense the last 10 minutes of regulation.
