I’ve been thinking that for a while. Problem is there is little to no moderation on here and people just start a new thread for a coupon code or sitings at a store.

I gotcha but it would be a great place to share target circle deals, online restocks and website deals. Anyways maybe I’ll start something tomorrow.

Are the tins not coming out until later? Looking at this link and wanting to order a Judge one, it tells me I can't even pick it up in store or have it delivered until March 2nd.

It looks like the tins all have the same Walmart item #, you'll probably have to buy in store if you want a certain player.

I think last year was unique vs the prior few years that didn’t have one? Maybe they stopped that?

Haven’t heard anything about one. Seems like last year was unique creation just to get Vlad into the set.

Looking forward to the massive dumping of product after this crazy Million Card breakers thing. EBay prices will be dirt cheap for singles. Just going to wait and buy what I want cheap.

It's said so many times in this thread that it's impossible to lose money on Series 1. Why is that? Why is it easier to make money in Series 1 than in other releases?

So much value in:

The:
-sets and master sets
-inserts
-gold, rainbow foil, now gold foil non-colored parallels
-colored parallels (black, pink, blue, independence day)
-Home Run Challenge cards
-silver packs
-and this is not counting the autos or relics.

Lots of collectors collect this one and more so than any other Topps release. And if you lock in at the early prices it is very difficult to lose money.

Thanks. I get your second point about collectors collecting this release more so than others, but the parallels and inserts are in other releses as well. Not at all trying to be argumentative. Also, I'm not saying it's not true -- lots of folks claim it is. It's just perplexing.

I think you'll just have to give experience the benefit of the doubt. Series 1 is referred to as Flagship, meaning it is the product Topps is known for. It is very widely collected and isn't expensive by the case, so you only lose money if you're lazy and try to sell only the hits. I still sell single base cards from 2019 daily. Literally, daily. People just enjoy collecting the first set of the year.

Topps flagship is the most collected set in sports cards. Every single card from the case has value. That’s not true of almost anything else other than heritage.

With this rookie class I think you're going to get a big chunk of your money back in just selling rookie lots alone

I got in on an Yankees jumbo case break. I’m unclear if Derek Jeter Memorable Moments insert are included in Jumbos. Does anyone know?

Yeah I agree with this one. Not really much fun involved though.

Serious question. I realize it's probably a guaranteed money maker, as many have stated, at $550 a case, but at $800? Seems like margins would be pretty thin, especially considering the time/work being put in.

Your sweet spot for much easier pickings was $550 to $650 but I still can't imagine it being tough to unload rookoes and team sets and just the law of averages in a whole case you should get a few good color parallels
