What is the etiquette when selling singles from a product with such poor quality control? I wasn't even going to list my JRod's because they have so many flaws. But if that is norm for the product, is it okay to list with no disclaimers?

EDIT: Is 2022 Topps Chrome Update an adequate disclaimer?

Was lucky enough to open 2 hobby boxes and get an auto out of each!

Odds show about 1 auto per 50 packs from what I see, so hitting 2 autos in 48 backs got me excited!

So... we dont have any Target stores north of the border...
so I mulled a hobby box for $200 Cdn(all in) ... like $150 US...
we get 13% tax added on so its like 130US + tx then exchange...
24 packs .. 4 cards = 96
less 24 purple and 12 inserts ( 4 of 3 inserts)
means 60 base cards....
so you need 3.33 boxes with perfect collation to complete the 200 card set..
or its 1 in 3.33 boxes to hit a Julio Witt or other base RC

didnt hit an auto... one guy at the LCS did and its a rough auto checklist..
he got Marcos Diplan .... who?? and his best base rookie was Hunter Greene
and best purple was Bryson Stott

My numbered card was a Blue Bobby Witt Jr RC #d of 150.... covered my box right there.. also a great color match..
and also hit a Julio RC, Witt RC and Wander Debut
and my purples included Witt Debut, Abrams Debut and Kwan RC

so it was a 3 Witt box...
I think there are good boxes like mine out there... but they are not easy to be lucky like I was...

I also grabbed my only Draft and hit a Holiday refractor auto of 499 and a Termarr Mood Ring so overall I am happy with both my after dinner breaks tonight

Watched CSB do 5 cases of this over the past couple days... they had a case with 4 numbered cards.. 12 boxes fing 4 numbered cards, 8 autos Albies was the only person I have even heard of. This is the end right here and I am glad we are finally there. Even people who regularly buy into breaks are like hard pass on this absolute dumpster fire.

I know we have been heading to this, but this is a big middle finger from topps, these boxes will be $40 or less in 6 months mark my words and that is even to much for them. 21-22 will be the push to reduce print runs and it is about damn time, because those boxes will fill up shops and discount retailers for years like the 90s boxes that still sit at hobby shops to this day.

There are 2 things that are infinite, the universe and people's stupidity, and I'm not so sure about the universe.

Amazing time to buy singles.

I love people who buy this and bad prospects/qbs, nothing easier in life than separating a fool and his money. Makes it so easy for us to make money on this hobby, keep breaking everyone!!

Not everyone is as knowledgeable as the folks here. What isn't going to happen is repeat buyers of this product. After getting burned a few times max, even the least knowledgeable buyers will realize this product is garbage and stop buying.

There seems to be a large print line on the left side + rough left edges/bottom corner

I think the print line may actually be the embossing off center. If you look at the RC symbol you can see it better.

Doesn’t look like the embossing as it goes all the way through the logo and up to purple border to the edge of the card. Hopefully it’s a scratch on the lens of the camera/ or scanner.

They're closer to 2x. Soto has fewer Chrome cards with a RC logo.

Did Topps forget to insert color parallels of certain cards? I've been looking for RD parallels of Witt and Melendez and haven't seen anything other than pink wave and purple. No aquas, green, blue, xfractors, etc... Really strange not to see one yet.

Edit to add: There are some, eBay just is being odd with the searches.

i think base refractor odds are 1:150

so i cant imagine what the odds are on color parallels

Just sent the seller a message about a card with the similar line...could be the scan/camera.
