That's because the breaks there had to be bought from BO. You can consistently find cheaper boxes on eBay compared to what BO tries to charge.

I have to say, the Prizm Wemby now looks dinky and not great to me by comparison. Who cares about jersey, I think this is the card moving forward long term.

IF you ignore the logo/pajama debate, I think most people would say TC base simply looks better as a card (photography, design, shine, etc) than Prizm base. But I do think the Prizm non-autos and all its parallels will always be worth more than comparable TC non-autos and parallels.

I'm just in the camp that TC autos will be worth more long term than comparably numbered Prizm non-autos. And if not TC autos, certainly TC Sapphire autos will be worth more than Prizm and I think even more than NT/Flawless with no auto a non game-worn patch.

This may have been covered already but I am looking at potentially grabbing a Wembanyama redemption auto… all of the live “Certified Rookie Autos” of his are refractors but all of his redemptions don’t mention anything about being a refractor. Are the redemptions going to be a “Base” version of the Refractor autos that are live?

Got in two orders of 3 today. Looks like Target started restricting number of orders now to two. I saw people on X talking about how their multiple orders were canceled.

Grand Slam Collectibles opened 4 cases live yesterday and pulled a total of 6 Wemby autos. Averaging more than 1 per case…crazy.

The Topps Chrome boxes break easy. They have a nice nostalgic mix of styles. I particularly appreciate the 1972 retro autos... first insert set since 20-21 Incoming that has me interested in insert set collecting. Problem is, Topps will pump so many of these type of inserts out over the years. Why not make cards with a retro vibe that are not an exact replica of the old sets? I thought Panini did that well with CR, CK, Obsidian, and Noir.

Oh... and greening era flux.
