huh, it's a bit more different than I thought. Both cool cards. I don't think either one detracts from the other. Nice.

I should be able to do my own side-by-side in a couple days, when my Update SSP arrives. In the meantime... They’re very similar photos. Even if they were taken during different swings, on different days, they’re essentially the same shot. I like the OD Canadian a little better, since you see a little more of his face (eye-black included), and his hands and bat handle are in the shot. But they’re both nice-looking cards. Yeah, the OD Canadian is definitely more to Bo's personality while the SSP has the mysterious feel. The OD background is more of a spring training or pre-game feel with the SSP being in-game. The eyeblack and the helmet were the clearly notable differences that I never took note of until posting them together. The swing is also a little further into the rotation on the OD.
Overall, the OD has the more "cool" insert/parallel feel while the SSP is classic and clean cut. Again, both fine cards. I don't think there will be much conflict between these cards in the long run. |

Ask and ye shall receive...stoked to land one of these of my own!! People don’t open these sets so finding one in the wild will prove tough down the line.

Topps automatically surfaces the sub button after a certain time period. Even if you hit the sub button they wouldn't send you anything for current year stuff. Was like this for bellinger his rookie year.

That scene was the Mandalorian version of taking a shot and yelling "Kobe!"

Yeah, I was hyped! Good thing I decided not to sell and saved my box to open on my birthday!
I was secretly hoping for a LouBob so I could have flipped it for both Bichette and Arozarena, but then again who wasn't?

Getting a long look before they go to the grading purgatory for the next six months. I've found that there's this strange anxiety when getting nice cards recently, as I get to enjoy them for like a week and mail them off into the ether. Since we're on the star wars kick, when they come back gem, it's like han solo breaking out of carbonite double fisting blasters.
