I agree I'd like to see Brentford go up, not only to see how they use the moneyball philosophy but it will be nice to have a different team in the prem again.

If Brentford don't win I imagine Toney will have many suitors, maybe a Spurs if they lose Kane?
I think he makes a lot of sense for Leicester as a Vardy replacement. I think this season we finally saw him start to break down physically and he had a slightly substandard year in front of goal. He's been a great servant for the club but the Red Bull diet won't keep him going forever.

The Playoff final Fulham v Villa was one of the best days of my life. The clubs second visit to Wembley, first in my lifetime. We'd lost the Final vs Atletico, and that was a special day with all my Fulham friends, but a day at Wembley with all of your family and every fellow fan you've ever met or spoken to there, having a massive prematch party and then the game and ensuing celebrations? Just magic. Still grates that we lost a second win at Wembley to Covid, especially beating Brentford. Ideal result today is a 3-0 Swansea win, but I can't see it. Just backed Brentford with the bookies so a win for them isn't a total loss for me. A really well run club, truth be told - and despite the fact we've gone up twice when they've bottled it, the way they are run shames how our WWF weirdo owner runs us.

Good game so far, nice intensity. Important tackle from Rudiger to deny Foden after great work from De Bruyne.

So Chelsea drew the first blood. Curious how Manchester City will respond in the 2nd half.

Kante and James having really good games. De Bruyne out of the game after a blatant obstruction by Rudiger.

Chelsea wins! The team seems to have Manchester City's number this season.

No fan of Chelsea but I'm happy for Kante, deserves the limelight and adulation tonight. Pep out-pepped himself, they had only played without both Fernandinho and Rodri once before this season. Sure why not give it a go in the UCL final not like it's a big game or anything lol. Some surprise Sterling started and James ended up keeping him in his pocket. Shout out to Kovacic who just picked up his 4th UCL winners medal despite playing just 34 mins in total in all finals.

Not sure what Ederson was doing on Haavertz's goal....came out way too far and way too early, to the point that he was outside the box and risked a straight red had Haavertz' first touch hit his hand/arm.

Between him, Kepa, and Allison, not sure why the top teams think they need to spend 60-70 million Euros on their keepers.

De Bruyne has a fractured nose and eye socket, it's likely he'll miss the start of Euro 2020 but should be able to play with a mask for the bulk of the tournament. Rudiger knew what he was doing there, absolutely Ramos-ed him.

Neither of these teams will be back in the final next year.
City couldn't have an easier path and choked.

They play decent defense but none of these teams can finish anything.

Lucky Bayern was injured or they'd both be trounced.

I wonder if/when City decide to part ways with Guardiola?

Much like Mourinho did early in his coaching career, Guardiola has had the reputation of being a genius, but in Europe, at least, he hasn't gotten the job done.

No Champion's League titles with Bayern Munich, and five losses in ties/matches that they were favored in with Man City.

Bayern won the Champion's League the year before Guardiola arrived, as well as after he left, but never even made the Final while he was in charge.

He's won the Champions League twice, Super Cup three times and the Club World Cup three times.

You're an incredibly dishonest poster.

The Super Cup and Club World Cup are made-for-TV competitions that nobody cares about. The European champion always wins the Club World Cup....that's an achievement barely worth mentioning.

Both of his Champions League titles were with Barcelona, more than ten years ago. He went 0-for-3 with Bayern Munich, and is now 0-for-5 with Manchester City.

And every single time he's been knocked out with Man City, it's been by a team he was expected to beat (Monaco, Liverpool, Lyon, Tottenham, and now Chelsea).

If the owners of Man City are serious about winning the Champions League, they have to be seriously asking themselves if Pep is the man to lead them there.

You do realize Ederson was only 35 million, right? Not even close to the same category as the other two mentioned.

If you watch City on a consistent basis, you would realize that is how he plays goal. Very rarely does he stay in his net. When it works, it’s brilliant great play. However, when it doesn’t, like yesterday, it’s catastrophic.

I am going to say this as nice as possible. Please, stick to hockey.

Every single club has had injuries this year. It’s a pathetic excuse . Bayern got ousted by a very mediocre PSG. Man City made PSG look like a 2nd tier team. Mbappe was a no show in the first leg and left on the bench for the 2nd. Not because he was injured, but because he was proven to be a liability the first game.

They never got ousted, they tied and home away rule is stupid when there is no fans. They dominated psg without their top players.

City got shutout by a team that barely qualified for champions league.

Like Bayern would ever get shutout by any of these teams.

Everyone knows if Chelsea played Bayern right now they would lose 70%+ of the time.

Zero chance they would get a clean sheet.

Only a biased mind would think otherwise.
