Pacers could win this series 4-0 and still be considered the lessor team by some of y’all.

Come on now. Jesus.

I mean of course the Pacers are telepathic, unconscious, whatever you want to call it.

But it's not supernatural. I mean, except in the Santana sense.

We are all privileged to be watching some really good basketball now. Cutting through the clutter.

Interesting that a week ago, since 1998, there were 0 NBA comebacks of 7 or more with less than one minute left, of 3,268 opportunities. And now there are three (the third belongs to Denver).

The only person really to blame Game 2 on was Ty Jerome.

You lose a 1 point game and go 1-14 with 2 points... yeah, you can take the blame. I though everyone else pretty much punched above their weight.

Which is why Game 1 is a bigger disappointment to me than Game 2. Game 2 Mitchell probably did need to take 30 shots. Game 1 he certainly didn't have to take 30 shots and 11 3s. Nor did the Cavs need to forget about Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley as much as they did. The mistakes the last minute of Game 2 are just a matter of a guy not being able to go all out for 35 minutes and still have enough in the tank to finish. Not everybody is Kobe or LeBron, and that's why those guys are special.

Can’t argue with any of the above.

I like when Mitchell recognizes when the three isn’t falling and takes it to the rack and gets to the line. Too often, he doesn’t recognize this soon enough and puts up a clank fest. He’s way too good at penetrating to settle for as many threes as he does when it’s not falling for him.

It's not just that Mitchell is not Kobe or LeBron.

Kobe and LeBron are the ones who win.

I mean, they are just a Mitchell or a Nesmith in the process of becoming. And history later says they were great.

The Pacers, quite honestly, have the luxury of 6th man Mathurin.

Ty didn't play very well until the last couple minutes. He is being compared to a Kidd or Nash right now for the way he manipulates the speed of the game. Is there upward potential?

If the Knicks win tonight, we have to put them on their pedestal. Even more so.

I wish you could have seen me rooting for him yesterday.

For damn near 47 minutes of the game, watching him figure out that he was much more effective driving that trying to shoot jumpers was everything I wanted to see.

Then the last minute was just the same problem that has held him back his whole career: He's all gas and no breaks. First with plowing through Nesmith and turning the ball over, and then on the final Hali rebound. It wasn't that he didn't put in the effort on that play, it's that he went for the rebound instead of boxing out.

And I get what he was trying to do: Up 2 with 10 seconds left... if you secure the rebound, you get quickly fouled, make your 2 free throws, and put the game on ice. But the problem is that in this case, that's the risky play and the only way the Pacers beat you on that possession. If Turner gets a quick putback, the game is just tied and you get one shot. He just has a tendency to get caught up in the moment and not trust his teammates to do their jobs. Which is a way to look great in the regular season then get bounced in round 1 or 2 every year.

According to the NBA 2 minute report, Haliburton's missed FT should've been waived off with a jump ball at midcourt because multiple players had violations including Haliburton stepping across the line too soon.

What the hell.

The Knicks are leaving the Celtics wide open and the can't throw the ball in the ocean.

The Celtics and Cavs fans have been by far the most arrogant this season. Would be hilarious to see them both bounced early.

10-40 from deep. Still shooting at a cool 25% clip. Less attempts this game. Progress? Are they going to choke away back to back games?

Well after 2 games it seems the only thing the Celtics are sure about doing is fouling Mitchell Robinson. Couldn't happen to a nicer city.
