Judge goes through slumps. It happens.

Last year in AAA: (May 7th - June 2nd)

24 games

14-94 (.149 BA) 2 HR 8 RBI 28 K's

Rest of his AAA season (June 3rd - August 12th)

43 games

51-153 (.333 BA) 12 HR 40 RBI 40 K's

Obviously we all know what happened when he made it to the majors. Another slump.

That's the kind of player he is. He goes through slumps, then makes adjustments, then goes on a tear for a while, then slumps again. He figured it out last year in the middle of the season in AAA. He figured it out in the off season before the start of this year. So hopefully he can figure it out once again. If he can average .280 40-45 HR 100-110 RBI a season I would be thrilled. He was never going to keep up his .330 55-60 HR 125 RBI pace lets be real.

And I don't want to hear that Judge being a career .280 hitter in the minors means that he will probably be a .240 hitter in the majors. Gleyber Torres is a career .280 hitter in the minors and everyone expects him to be the best thing ever before even making it to the majors.

If he goes on a tear for the last month of the season and the Yankees are playoff contenders.... Watchout, that will be some fun baseball to watch.

Yankees are 2.5 games ahead of Seattle for the wild card spot as of now. The two upcoming series vs the Red Sox are extremely crucial and must-see TV. If Judge picks it up during those series, watch out....

The nice thing with Bellinger and Judge is that both have a chance to be on the big National TV stage. Bellinger we know will be in the playoffs, lets hope the Yankees win the division and get multiple games.

A few big hits and prices could go higher. Bellinger right now appears much safer bet than Judge.

I said it and I'm sticking to it. Part of the thing with Gleyber is his youth and ability to grow and mature. Gleyber is 5 years younger and many think the best is yet to come.

I agree if Judge hits .280 by seasons end it would be great. I don't think anyone here would bet a paycheck that he will hit .280 or higher. I know I wouldn't.

Yankees don't need to win the division to make the playoffs, they can sneak in as a Wild Card, which at this point they are 2.5 games ahead of the Mariners for

Cards. Buying low, holding and selling high. He plays in the best market in the globe. Performance is obviously the risk.

You wish Trout was a Yankee, put that boy in pinstripes and his card prices would double overnight.

It's so sick to think Trout still commands the prices he does playing for that crap franchise of a team going nowhere...putting up MVP numbers for a team that can't sniff the playoffs...reminds me of the MVP in the NBA last year, Russell Westbrook averaged a triple double yet the most talked about NBA players at the National were Durant (an NBA Champion) and Lonzo Ball (a rookie on the biggest mass-market team in the league).

The constant posting trying to keep interest up and show you guys aren't panicking - actually shows you are all scared, and that's fine - but its the same BS constantly...it shows fear.

Judge is really good, has great numbers, great team, but the thread has become a joke, let them man do his thing for crying out loud.

Leave it alone - he can play. We all know he can hit...Look at his freaking stats.

Seems like a lot of nervous n defensive posting going on lately. Hope he turns it around but his play as of late has been poor. Especially compared to his first half. The every at bat updates n posts have made this thread spin out of control. Baseball is a marathon not a sprint.

The Harper thread died down, look at what it did for Harper...
That's funny because the people who come in here the most are all the trolls to talk about how many times he's struck out...and seabass, pgisback, and msterling are the troll triumvirate.

Because it gets bumped 1000 times a day...let the thread die down...

I actually don't think he is going to strike out today, Estrada is AWFUL!! 7.50 ERA the last 9 starts.

I could care less if AJ strikes out, hes a power hitter they all do. Bellinger strikes out a ton, nobody cares because people aren't on his jock 24/7.

Nobody is trolling Judge, they are trolling the posters who say the same thing non stop.

Goes both ways, the 'updates' every game he struggles have an equal effect on the thread.

If you don't want to read the content, simply don't click on the thread.

.294, 35 HR, 78 RBI as a rookie...the trolls go "Judge sucks, next Adam Dunn, worst player in baseball"

.271, 20 HR, 48 RBI...the same trolls go "Kris Bryant is having a great season"

Gotta love those message board trolls

I expect Boston to make Judge look really bad... just a hunch. In regard to him facing bad pitchers and catching a break... that has not been working out too well :/

Message board posters post in threads for different reasons. I will continue posting in this thread daily until the end of the season regardless of performance. I follow baseball. Judge is great for baseball and the card collecting hobby.

definition of trolling: "make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them."

doesn't matter if it's the truth or not, you post so often about how Judge sucks and strikes out all the time in order to elicit an angry response from Judge fans...that's exactly what trolling is
