I also wonder if the request for total resets the clock? For awhile there I had some weird purchases page and when I requested a total, the order would disappear.

Everything would just be so much easier if we knew exactly how eBay worked.
I don’t know how it works because it’s automated. So it does what it does.

Curious as to how most people get their consignment credit payout? Check? Would ideally like PP but after fees does it make sense?

When I have taken a payout it has been via check, but usually I leave it in the system for future submissions. I use grading to consignment with every order and it makes it easier to get the cards I want to keep back faster when I have a positive balance that can pay for the sub while the consignment cards run.

Totally agree. Have been doing the same. Have been keeping a balance and just looking to get paid now.

The grading to consignment works great!

You can also leave money in there to make eBay purchases.

We’d ship it with a return order or separately. You are a trustworthy customer. Just make a US address so you can bid.

Josh, how do we use a consignment credit to pay for eBay purchases from PCS? Do we email through eBay or directly to consignment or customer service?

Also pretty frustrated with the ebay team. Won some items last Monday, won more last Friday, still don't have any combined shipping on the two groups, even though it's been three days and a full business day. I'm going to have to pay now to avoid a non-payment issue and just eat an extra $5 in shipping costs.

It's not like a huge deal, but none of the items cost more than $6...it's a real disincentive to buy more low cost items if we have to risk strikes to do it. dcsports87 has this set up to be fully automated.

We have it setup to be fully automated also. Good thing we are friends with them and will ask them if they can help us get it fixed. It’s super frustrating on our end also.

Edit - Did you request a new combined invoice at all since it wasn’t automatic?

Edit 2 - just talked to my buddy at dcsports87. He said it doesn’t work everytime for them either and he wishes it did. Looks like you’ve gotten lucky.

Yeah, I've never had it fail to stack on their stuff in my (somewhat large sometimes) compiling. But I get you on Ebays functionality being bad - it feels like the entire website wants to break some days. Appreciate the quality service as always!

Is the 'My Consignment' section updating as expected currently? I got 20+ items sold on February 3rd on eBay, I remember you once saying there's a 2 day delay on your website updating on the status, but as of today still all show 'Sold on eBay' with nothing being marked as paid. Was that delay increased or am I facing a bunch of slow payers?

The time to update is still the same. eBay pushes updates to our website once a day (I'm not sure exactly when this is or if it is the same time every day). All sold items where the payout for that sale has been made available to us by eBay will be updated on our website at that time. It's all dependent on when the sales reconcile on eBay and then when that data is sent to us for you to see the items move from "awaiting payment" to "paid." I can see internally that you only have a few items still awaiting payment that ended 2/3 now, so these may have now updated since you last checked.

I’ve gotten in the habit of waiting about 5 business days to see the payments hit my account after my consignments end. I know a lot of people win multiple auctions across several days and wait until the end to pay in order to save on combined shipping, so that slows things up sometimes. And I know ever since eBay switched to managed payments that slowed things up a little bit too. If I’m still waiting for a payment after 5 business days, then chances are pretty high that the auction went unpaid.

This is the truth. I tend to use the whole 7 days with PC because they have so many items. I currently have 3 unpaid wins, the oldest of which was Monday. That means I likely won't pay until next Monday.

Great points. We have many buyers that order in bulk from us over the 7 day window to take advantage of combined shipping.

Payouts should be done next business day after request is made

Does your team have an account manager or relationship with USPS? I had a grading order returned recently that appears to be lost. It hit the NY distribution center on 1/31 and has no scans since then. I submitted a missing mail search. Thought I'd ask in case you had any insight as well.
