How do you not have a Miggy card today? There had to have been at least one artist (maybe) seeing the build up to 500, right? And it took him a week to finally get it.

I’m the outlier but this is my favorite card of his in the set. And yes that includes the Adam Bomb Trout.

Topps may as well hold off on the wrapper cards for now. After the MLBPA deal runs out in a couple of years Topps can probably do complete projects of pre ‘95 wrappers. If all of the artists aren’t working for Fanatics at that point lol.

It’s consistent with Topps not really caring about events for this set. They have Topps Now to run.

In order for a Miggy card to come out, an artist would have to care enough about him and the Tigers to create one.

I can see why. It's a cool card. I just can't pinpoint what it is that throws me off a little about it.

It is interesting to look at his portfolio for P70 and see how his style has evolved to really ramp up the nostalgia factor. If I had to pick another artist or two to collect it'd be him and Quiccs.

Great question. Clearly shows a lack in attention to details or enthusiasm for the sport they're profiting off of.

Blake turned around a Kelenic card pretty quickly, he could do a Miggy card.

Rochester Acuna at 1613 is low, but surprisingly not the lowest for him (SoleFly 1473).

Nice Lauren Taylor Mantle PR at 6302.

One man's opinion- that Acuña number is criminally low.

It bothered me that this gorgeous card from my favorite Project 2020 artist didn't have its PR posted above:

Card 467 - 1991 Thurman Munson by JK5 - PR: 986

And yes, that Rochester Acuna is a delight. Glad I ordered one because it's doubtful to be $20 again, at least in the near future...

should have bricked up on the quicks acuna and claw money babe. both of those grossly undersold as well. oh well. another one i missed out on. at least i got my pc copies. good to see that there are going to be some more valuable cards, even if i have none to flip. lol.

also, skee got close to his lowest print run on a vladdy jr? that is shocking to me. i blame drake.

people must really be jumping ship on topps cards because of the news. idk. silly really.

JK5 has actually become my favorite artist during P70. He was up there with Ermsy, Fucci and Rochester during P2020 but his consistency has really set him apart this time around. Ermsy's recent pop culture mashups aren't for me. I also liked when he hand colored his work with markers. I'm glad he's challenging himself and staying engaged with the project though, even if it means his art is less my style lately.

It sure is. I think we are at the point where a print run above 2K for anyone outside Ohtani / Pardee / L. Taylor / Skee is going to be "very high" and we aren't even halfway through yet.

Claw Money may not even be cracking print runs of 300 by November when collector bucks are going more towards football and basketball (not to mention absolutely brutal P70 fatigue by then).

I think 300 is too low, even for bad cards. My thinking is 700 is where low PRs will mostly settle, since a 10-pack will virtually guarantee a foil.

That's also why I would have expected 1400 to be the average as this project goes on. The foil chase would settle around 1 in 20 which is where it was in Project 2020. But, I think even that estimate is optimistic at this point, due to new sports seasons and fatigue as mentioned.

Got my Clemente Chuck Styles today and I can report that I received my first foil! Now, to sell or hold...

It sure is beautiful, but it sure is a nice $150 probably to fund the rest of the releases.

Too much time on my hands and found this fun fact playing around on the Gumstick site:

Claw has released 11 cards for a total print run of 14,364.

Pardee's first release, Acuna, sold 14,825 copies alone.
