Little known fact is that the 17/76 is the preferable Indy

I own the 2018 Indy 1/76, the 2019 Indy 1/76, and am looking for the 2020 indy 1/76.

Agree—2014 Mookie Updates are around $700. Over 1k for Chromes. US300 and HMT55 are 2 cards that may follow a similar path.

Yeah, I think Mookie is undervalued. Based on pops alone, he should be a lot closer to Trout.

However, the fact that he's not should provide a little caution. Why isn't his prices higher? Do collectors/investors care about Mookie?

Mookie is what he is at this point, as far as the hobby goes. He is also now on a team that has a rabid fan base, but also has many good players on it

Actually I was talking about scrapping the pop theory all together on these 2 heavily-printed flagship update rookies. Just look at it as the masses do—“Mookie Betts Topps Update Rookie Card” vs. similar superstar caliber player “Juan Soto Topps Update Rookie Card.”

Using collector logic, you are correct. Using 2021 logic, Betts Update 700/1K plus, Soto Update 350/500 = Soto has room to grow as he’s a similar level of star player.

I do think US300 has more hobby potential than Betts Update.
