Just FYI. This guy ate up a ton of my auctions, so I'm sure I'm not the only one going to get hit by this grade chaser. Name comes up on scam post on google as well.

Thank you, blocked....sorry to hear.....I dealt with one of these guys with last year's draft....claimed my pics were duplicates of other cards that already sold (but yet had different serial numbers), lol. Like I have time for that nonsense..

Usually Topps has boxes near cost on new releases, does anyone know why Bowman Draft is $155?

I'm gonna back kenben1977 up because he's one of the most fair and understanding buyers I've dealt with. He's bought a couple cards with minor condition issues from me and has never given me issues, and we've done about 10 different deals. The difference here is that I've always been honest with him about the cards before I sold them to him, which wasn't always the case when I bought those cards from other sellers.

I initially sold the Robles Green raw to a different buyer:
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1041779

The initial buyer made a big fuss over a small scratch (here and on ebay), and I was unwilling to offer a refund, because the card was well within my condition as described. Had to take a refund and got the card graded. Sold it to kenben1977 as a BGS 9, with a disclosure that the card was previously returned due to the scratch. He ended up cracking the card and explained to me that the first buyer was unreasonable in his return.

As a result, it is my belief that there were flaws that should have been disclosed but were not. When he says he accepts anything nrmt+ or better, it has been true in all my transactions with him.

Please keep any further back and forth you would like to have in the feedback section following this. Since you chose to post in both here, where I am warning the fellow sellers of the site about a buyer with multiple known scams per google....here is your response.

Seems odd, you have posted this exact same deal in both threads. This leads me to believe you are personal friends with kenben1977 or are potentially him with a secondary account listed here as he isn't exactly a huge feedback well known buyer.

The fact that you choose to back a guy who's username brings up multiple scams on google is both disheartening and concerning at best.

I stand by my statement, when you are buying new raw cards, just like when packs are being opened you are only entitled to NR-MT or better as thats all that topps will honor. Said card qualifies as that. When opening cases in bulk as many will confirm here, you can not magnify glass every surface, corner, edge, and centering for every card listed. If every card bought was a 9.5 out of 10, everyone would send them in for grading. It's not a guarantee, and disclosing 'damage' on a card that would grade MINT (maybe even 9.5). Give me a break.

Guy is a clown, and again, at best it's concerning when a blowout member is supporting a guy who has obviously been taking advantage of ebays exploitable return policy. Especially with the response above that the seller came back with....if you support that I don't want to do business with you either.

I've never seen a new release anywhere near cost on the website.

You felt the need to call him out in two threads, so I had to back him up in both threads. I'm simply stating that the guy has been more than reasonable in every deal I've had with him and don't believe that blocking him is warranted. Obviously, you've had a different experience, but I feel it is important to get both sides out there.

Not a good look for you, wasn't a smart call when there are multiple instances of the guy being a scam artist and many things you cannot explain or answer for in regards to my situation. But hey bold strategy Cotton.

More than a tic! Someone went case happy yesterday and bought up every case that every vendor was offering. It literally happened in a matter of hours, and now everyone is relisting higher. Very good for the product though. Don't see many cases going UP in the 4th quarter.

A week in we have 15+ players selling for over $15 for base autos shipped. Yes - still expect more correction as people in breaks get more cards this week, but that's 20% of the auto checklist. I think there are another bunch in the 8-15 range that people still are chasing.

Combine that with no ACTUAL NEW data to suggest the optimism for any of those players in misplaced... and I don't think we'll see a downward correction to a large degree until probably when '18 comes out and when we start to see some early Spring numbers.

EDIT: I would still expect people to get enough of whatever guy they are chasing to have corrections to some prices (I'm looking at you "guy who is buying up all the Cash Case base autos" on ebay) for sellers to start to race to the bottom, but without actual data, "guy who really likes Christian Pache" will continue to buy up singles and pay $4-8/case share on auctions, I believe.

I've got 16 guys in my spreadsheet with a "natural" value (or whatever you want to call it) of $15 or more. This was a very strong draft on the position player side, night and day from 2016.

The prices went a little higher today than they did yesterday. I won far fewer auctions and finished second in even fewer still. The guys I got I did very well though. I got two gold, a gold wave, a blue, a purple, and a base.

I have concluded two things about the Bubba Thompson autographs:

1. He signed these cards after a workout because I seen some autographs with thumbprints in them and sweat drips.

2 He signed these in the shower.
