Here is the one I was more than fortunate to be sent. I have only seen 1 other surface, so I wonder if some are more SP than others

Looking at the bay I have not seen more than 5 copies of a kind and even assuming that others who received them did not sell on ebay there should not be more than 10-15 copies per variation imo. Even the pack inserted cards 1-17 were also rarely posted on ebay which leads me to believe that these are quite short printed.

10 copies per sounds about right^ As stated, even if you look at the packs inserted 2019 Contenders Kobe autographs, the population is quite low on both PSA and BGS.

Last I checked there were 36 cards graded total and that’s for the previous set which has cards #1-17.


Not sure if the redemptions are even less.

Wow, the sale price on that 10 has really driven up the price of a 9.

Probstein also has PSA 10s of the '96 Flairs, Row 0 and Row 2.

Row 0 is over $15K and the Row 2 is $1,600. Wonder where they end up. The Row 0 might be his best looking RC. The Row 2 is actually the toughest grade out of the Flair Rows.

These sales can't be real. The Row 0 went for $59K a few days after one from a random seller went for $10K; the Row 2 hit $15.7K.

Someone also hit the buy on a row 0 PSA 10 on myslabs for $40k about an hour ago. Considering you get kicked off the site for non payment. It's probably legit too.

This is insane. Row 0 was on my want list to pick up this year. Not sure I’ll be able to now. The BGS 10 on eBay just sold for $45k too.

I have an ungraded Row 0, but I was hoping to pick up a PSA 9. Looks like the ship has sailed on that plan.

I have continued picking up Kobe cards through this explosion the past 2-3 months. Staying in the rally has paid off as things sure seem to be on a strong upward trajectory. I can’t play in the gem part of the pool any longer but 8s and 9s are definitely solid buy and hold as well. It’s a fun time to have a decent Kobe pc.

I sold a few Kobe Rc early January cause I owe the IRS about 18k (I owe every year cause I'm an independent contractor) and was gonna use profit money to pay it. But damn had I sold the same few cards today it would've netted me around $8 to $10k more lol. And its not like the IRS payment was due yet lol. Luckily I still have 30 autos I kept as well as quite a few key Rc, inserts, and Refractors of various years stuck at PSA. I bought most of these right after Pandemic started and alot of the RC took a dip in late Aug thru Nov. So when they went up again early Jan to where I can turn a 2x to 3x profit, I sold some for profit but I didn't expect it to keep going up at this pace. It actually saved me this time that PSA is taking so long to return the other bunch of Kobe's I submitted.

I was trying to get a PSA 10 for every rookie year card but I'm gonna have to call it quits for now, at least for trying to get them all. I got every insert and insert parallel except for the Skybox New Editions, Rookie Prevue and Topps Draft Redemption.

This has been an incredible run-up.

E-X2000 Credentials and Topps chrome refractor and Row 0 Legacy in PSA 10 is game over. Never mind the Skybox New Editions, Rookie Preview and Topps Draft Redemption!

Also Kobe Row 0 isn't in the first 30, so it is only mildly SP. Use the information as you make decisions. They fall 1:10 packs, not 1:24

I'm fortunate enough to have the PSA 10 Rookie Prevue. I have no idea what the current value is because I have not seen one sold since I bought it. (Probably a similar situation as your Kobe Grant Hill's Rookie Team).

I'm just happy to see the Flair Showcase and E-X2000's getting their due. They are my favorite of the Kobe rookies and think they've been overlooked for quite some time.

Wow, I’m a baseball guy and crazy to see what Kobe prices are. I used to have a bunch of refractors, even the first year prizm auto. Wish I still had it.

Only held the 2010-11 Certified “PMG” auto since that was my favorite card.

Prices are outrageous right now, even for PSA 8. PSA 8 gold finest sold for 3250. PSA chrome rookie sold for 4650. Can’t buy anything. I hope they dip so I have a buying opportunity.
