Soto holds a few spots on the all-time pump list. Sold my raw 2019 TC Sapphire rookie cup "1st Sapphire" for $500 whenever it was those peaked.

^ I get the sentiment, I really do (they sucked balls this year)but it seems like the last “frenzy” was LF and haven’t there been several meh non frenzied products since then?
It’s ok for people to get excited about a perceived decent box value in a sea of over priced trash I think.

they could stack the product with 140 different auto subjects like chrome update where 125 of them are guys nobody wants and make autos easier to hit but that wouldn’t add any actual value.

autos may be hard to hit but they are mostly good autos so the rate to hit a “good” auto isn’t any different than something filled with random vet autos.

Sure, no one cares about the 95% of autos on most checklists so the problem isn't with the actual auto you're most likely to pull. It's rejoicing at the seemingly low price tag that says it's okay for Topps to keep devaluing its products. Save a little here, cut some corners there, and eventually someone will be thinking do cards actually need things like collation or clean edges.
