It had been sitting on ebay for a while, as part of a bulk listing for 2018 Topps cards. The lead picture is of a Dominic Smith ‘18 Topps Mother’s Day, so not exactly where you expect to stumble upon a Soto like this.

I was trying to lay off it, but it got to the point that inaction would just be throwing money away.

He offered me the card for $30 or a full return. Normally I would have kept it but felt he was dishonest because I specifically asked if it was the exact card in the picture before I bought so I returned it. 🤦#@♂️

Is it the one that's on auction right now, ending in next 4 days or so?

yes I never did worry about the full W on card as long as it was a Soto Rookie! I look at that beautiful Gold HMT55 on the previous page and see a 10 centering with a little front of the W missing.?

Aren't full Ws by necessity off-center?

I’m not sure now tbh. I do remember very early in the release there was a lot of talk that the full W was the correct centering but now we have way more cards to base off perhaps the cut W is the correct centering?

The full W does not matter. Both full w and cut w have Gem’d.

The Gem on the right has a cut off W while the other 2 are full W

That OS20 is such a great looking card isn’t it!? I’d love to see a picture of them all together!

Had to remove my graded cards from my Apache case last night so I figured I’d photograph everything. Everyone else has been dropping STRAIGHT FIRE in here lately. Here’s my (very meager) graded Soto collection. Most pack-pulled and all self-submitted - there’s nothing like 10’s with consecutive serial numbers! Hoping to acquire a 2016 BCA one of these days...

The silver Archives (Pop 1) is on eBay and myslabs.

Love it! That silver is very nice! Great cards! I bought an Apache case last night and really like it. I feel the case isn’t quite deep enough for slabs. Any tips? I feel like the bottom foam needs to be a hair thinner to fit snuggly..

Another mail day!

2018 Topps Chrome Purple Heritage Refractor. I wasn't the biggest fan but once in hand the purple is pretty beautiful!

I took the bottom layer out and put in some sturdier (reflective) bubble wrap that I cut to fit the bottom. Still a little snug but I used top insert from a different case as well.

The quality of these cases is GREAT. If only they were 3/4” taller.

I think it's only a matter of time...as the regular Heritage Chrome Refractors /569 are starting to dry up too.

Great idea! I know exactly what bubble wrap you’re talking about. I’ll try and find some.

These cases are great! I went with the 4800 model. I felt it was the perfect size to fit 4 rows of PSA slabs. As of now, I have them in without the bottom foam. But I’ll try the bubble wrap idea. I also like the idea that they’re waterproof.

For those that may be interested, you can get Apache cases from harbor freight here:
