Finally landed a 2020 Soto Indy from Instagram. Got it really cheap. Although it’s not the 1/76, it will do for now. Still looking for the 1/76!

Here is the 2018, and 2019 as well (which I’ve shown off a million times!)

Speaking of Soto’s Indy card, anyone know what happened to the Indy Soto on eBay? Seems to no longer be there...

Edit: eBay ID for the card is 264928077540.

130point shows no results. Must’ve been pulled and/or sold offline.

It did not sell on eBay. I was really hoping it would sell to get a feeling for the current Indy value as they almost never sell.

What do you guys think the market would be for a min gem Indy?

A year ago, a seller on eBay was selling a raw Indy (which I bought) and a raw HMT55 Gold Refactor. I was going to buy both, but lost the Gold Refractor because the auctions ended at almost the same time (I didn't know of the sniping tools at the time). Considering the explosion in the prices for Gold Refractors, I am wondering if I focused on the wrong card.

I think the last graded sale was a PSA 10 for $10k? That was near the end of last year I think from someone here. We probably won’t see an Indy pop up on eBay for awhile as most, if not all, are locked down.

Luckily I have a 9.5/10 of the 2018 Bowman Best that I paid $76 for and graded myself

Very nice! I just bought a 3D and a Hands on Hips. The last two rookies I want now are any Bowmans Best and a Gold Topps Update. But I will not get the Bowman Best for 76$.

Obviously it is easy to say now, but one of my biggest regrets in cards is not getting at least 1 2018 update gold of Soto. I have the Torres PSA 10 that I got for $40 raw and graded and currently have the gold Acuna at PSA that I pulled out of a blaster back in 2019. Always said I need to get the soto to complete the “big 3 golds” and never did

Took the plunge and purchased a few graded Soto's that arrived today. I may have over payed at $1k for the lot but I wanted to grab some now in case the prices climb even higher. You guys have some very impressive stuff on here and this is peanuts for sure but it's a start.

Pulling vs Buying. A little over a year ago when affordable I bought four 2018 jumbo boxes and pulled zero Juan Soto Rookie Cards. Really bad luck I thought. I have since purchased all the rookie Juan cards I wanted to pull. My point is, those who have pulled their own Soto Rookie cards, and will hold on to them for the long term hold, I am very jealous. No matter my collection in the future, I may never have pulled my own Juan Soto Rookie card.

You didn't pull a single Soto in 4 jumbos? Aren't there like 300+ cards in each box?

I mean, the odds of that are astronomically low.

I only pulled a few Debut Soto Rookies. But yeah no base 300s.

I pulled the trigger on 4 more chrome PSA 10s. Had 8 at $90 each. Now I doubled my cost average with 4 cards on the chromes. We will see if I’m smart or stupid
