My Deni Rising Star currently at $435. So close to just letting go of it. The only thing is that those Lebron SS moments have spiked so high, I completely expect the Zion Rising Stars to spike in the same way when he's announced. That should be in the next day or so, so I have to be patient for a bit more.

I'm not quite understanding something and maybe someone can help me out.

Seeing Star Challenge. I got a Devin Booker, which is a part of the challenge. It's been hovering around $170 for a week or so. Yet, I see a Chris Paul, who's not part of the challenge sitting at a low offer of $224. Shouldn't the Booker be more in demand?

The Paul is going to be part of the Lebron challenge so prices have been climbing some because it hasn't formally been announced but it's coming.

Agreed. I enjoy following the commentary.

I'll add in my own. Bought up the SS for KD early on hoping to see a rise but it never came. Holding through the challenge and hoping for a low serial. Assuming there will be a huge drop on the challenge cards, what do y'all think the best long-term play is? Go for quickest sell right away or hold for months under the assumption that the overall TS market rises as more and more people get in on the action?

Also, as mentioned in the past day, could be nice to have a KD if the Nets make a deep run and KD plays a big role in the playoffs. IRL I'm big time rooting against the Nets and KD but holding onto him might shift my allegiances a bit...

If you already have all the moments needed for KD I think it makes sense to hold now and just get him depending on how much you spent for them. Seems like he will be relatively rare at this point. Only way I would change that is if we get a huge pump in prices in them where you can exit at a decent profit.

It will be hard to sell them at any price as soon as the challenge is over if it's like any of the other challenges. There just aren't any buyers and you have hundreds of sellers all at once, like 50% price reduction in a matter of minutes. You can list right away and chances are you'll be undercut but 100 lower listings. So it's best to just accept there will a drop and you'll have to take the price they settle at or hold for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, the KD side doesn't have as many guys that hold value well, mostly just Zion.

What will hurt these even more is the release of the new all star sets, so all these seeing stars are going to have another all star related moment, this time from the actual game. I am hoping they don't release these until after the KD/Lebron challenges are done.

Y'all seem frustrated and that's fine. Put me on your ignore list if it bothers you that much. This is a place to discuss Topshot and its' moments, I am not complaining about the prices I am discussing the market surrounding the Zion Rising Stars moments, which effect me significantly holding the Deni Rising Star. And this may be insignificant to a baller like you mossoholic, but a $200 swing from where the Deni moment is now to where it was at its' peak is a lot to me. Clearly you think the fact I made $800+ from 2 packs is significant, so how is a $200 swing complaining about "a few dollars"? As well, discussing the Deni moment also means discussing the Zion RS market as a whole, because these will all rise and fall together as has been shown. So me talking about my moment specifically as well as the entire market surrounding the Zion card.

I get that you're mad you haven't gotten any packs. I truly hope you get the next few, but it doesn't happen for everyone immediately. In fact, it was 2 weeks of nonstop queues before I got my first 2 packs. I do complain that they don't have enough packs, because I want everyone who wants one to get one, including me. I will be sad everytime I don't get into a drop.

Me personally, I'd just wait a few days after the challenge to post the moments from the KD challenge. I think those will fall precipitously after the challenge ends. I doubt a long-term play on those moments are worth it though. It also depends on how low of a KD you get too.

I know it’s been discussed a little but what’s the consensus on the Conley challenge? If you can get in for less than $400 pull the trigger? I’ve got about $900 in funds and I’m debating on doing that challenge for the heck of it.

I'll echo the others and say do not do that unless you just want t complete a challenge and don't care if you lose money. Those moments are way overpriced, a ton more are going to be released at some point so you'll be able to complete it for cheaper or just buy the Conley for much cheaper.
