Am I the only one who keeps staring at that signature borderline hypnotized?

It's like too freaking perfect lol. I've seen a ton of Vlad sigs, some good and some bad. But most have some type of tiny flaw at some point in the signature, especially in his rookie year.

This one looks flawless. Wowwwwww

Hahaha thanks everyone. The auto quality played a large part in the purchase. Never said that before. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a card, so let’s hope he isn’t cursed now. Many moons ago, the most I had spent was for an Orange Oscar Taveras auto.. Majority of his orange autos are clean (new sharpie indeed), but they don’t look near as smooth as this one. Most are either angled worse or crunched together. Everything about the card screamed keeper, but knowing me it will be for sale sooner rather than later.

It’s not just that it’s streak-free. It’s also the amount of a real estate it covers, while staying within the lines.

For instance, my blue’s auto is pretty broad but streaky. My refractor’s auto is bold but condensed. Like with ex-girlfriends, if I could just take the best of this one and combine with the best of that one...

I decided to do an experimental dabble in the Panini realm. I have a couple of jersey autos, but this is my first regular panini rookie of Vlad. (Well, regular, numbered parallel rookie of Vlad.) I’m definitely not in love with this one.

Maybe a low-numbered Obsidian or Titan or Phoenix would do more to tickle the pickle?

Yeah, 2019 Panini Prizm is weird in that they didn't release base cards for the RCs, they only have RC autos which are kind of limited. If you're cool spending some coin I definitely think the Prizm autos are a steal right now.

I honestly don't think that most people know the story behind them, they just saw that Prizm didn't make base cards and then move along to other Panini products. So their Prizm autos have been flying under the radar this whole time. If we want to play the extrapolate game with 2018 Prizm, people pooped turkeys over the base parallels of Acuna and Soto and the autos break the bank, when they even show up for sale, which is rare.

Optic is probably the next Chronicles-esque Panini product in popularity. The always popular Rated Rookie emblem and the many parallels.

If you really want to get hooked, go Flawless. Some of the nicest cards I've ever held in my hand. Whether you go regular base (only 36 total) or a RPA (probably less than 50) they're both incredible.

Its not license buy the MLB baseball. I think some none license stuff is better then the license and Topps stuff.
