Just wait. It gets better. Just finished up the finale of season 4.

I’d say it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever watched.

Just re-watched Deadly Class on Peacock. That's one show I wish they'd make another season of.

Don't get me wrong.. I really like Snowfall. It's solid. But even mentioning it in the same breath as The Wire is possibly the most ridiculous comparison I've ever come across. It's not even close and unfair to Snowfall, which I do believe is exceptional.

I finally started watching The Queen's Gambit.

I will finish the last episode tonight most likely and I will say that it is good but I'm not blown away.

It certainly should not be sweeping all the mini-series award categories when there are other impressive mini-series in contention as well (in particular I May Destroy You).

Hopefully the Emmys correct that.

I think it's pretty well known on these boards that I consider this film an absolute classic. I'm a film snob with no interest at all in MMA or UFC or whatever you call it. But I still think Warrior is one of the most underrated films of the past twenty years.

Generation Hustle is a really great documentary series on HBOMax. Each episode is self contained and focuses on individuals being conned out of money by some pretty charismatic con artists. All of the ones I’ve watched so far have been solid but the best ones if you want to sample probably are:

1) The 23 Lives of Jeremy Wilson— guy travels across the country assuming different aliases and bilking victims out of money before skipping town.
2) The Party’s Over — nerdy teenager becomes popular DJ and cons investors into investing in wild parties that ultimately are money losers.
3) Th Alabama Exit — nerdy dude pretends to be early Google employee and moves to Alabama and cons investors to invest in a start-up incubator but ultimately he uses the funds raised for personal expenses.

I think this is the series, not the movie. It's about a Chinese Kung Fu expert in San Francisco during the gold rush era.

Yep totally different...the series is based off the writings of Bruce Lee.

Finished the first season of Made for Love on HBO. Kind of strange, but funny and entertaining none the less.

Give it one more episode, first one was kind of set up/backstory, got more interesting as she started going to the tournaments.

What do you typically watch?

FX has all their series on there. Lots of really good movies too.

Yeah, I'm starting to see they don't really compare, but doesn't mean it isn't an enjoyable series.

Almost done with season 2.

I got the $2 a month deal on Black Friday and haven’t found much. Enjoyed 11/22/63 as a Stephen King fan. My kid likes Blippi (I can’t stand him). I couldnt stomach Handsmaid Tale (too depressing) That’s about it.

Just finished watching Volume 1 of Jupiter's Legacy on Netflix. Only 8 episodes but they seemed to fly by. Looking forward to Volume 2 as there are answers to some questions but tons of more to be answered down the line.
