Good point. Until that happened, I didn’t know that a foul-line incident can’t be reviewed if it occurred in front of the field ump.... Yeah, because that makes sense. Umpire eyes are umpire eyes (i.e. blind) no matter where the ball lands!

These TC Base & Parallels have been by far the biggest winners so far for Vlad. Probably helps that he doesn't have any Flagship parallels on the NNO Bat Up.

I’m telling you if someone hadn’t seen Vlad since last year they would be awfully impressed at his physique. Granted he’s just a big frame guy but he’s looking like one in shape baseball player nowadays. I’ve been watching since ST so it’s obviously nothing new but sometimes watching I’m just thinking kid flat out transformed himself over the past ten months. It’s paying off

Agreed. Hes done a fantastic job of transforming himself. As someone who has gone through a couple similar transformations in his lifetime I can tell you without a doubt the more difficult task will be maintaining or improving on this in an upcoming offseason where the underlying theme will be praise and adulation instead of disappointment and doubt. I hope that the fire that fueled this can maintain through his career.
Once you've proven you can do it and the attaboys and praise wear down then it's up to you to find the internal motivation to continue. It's very easy slip back into old habits of poor eating and lack of ass kicking workouts.
Im rooting for him big time to maximize his prodigious talent.

I have a few basic Vlad rookies like the NNO in a PSA 10, but I pulled this from a box of 2020 Heritage. It is more interesting to me as I have not seen another one. All the info I can find on these is they are not numbered, but are said to be 25 or fewer. I know the box toppers don’t seem to be as collectible but the large image would look great displayed.
