This happened to me (QA2 and list is gone) and all I had to do was call and confirm my credit card info, then the grades popped and shipped the next couple of days.

Hopefully PSA catches up on modern bulk, it feels like its not moving compared to ultra modern and vintage bulk

Yea, I have a few modern orders out that I'd like to see back, but it makes sense why modern should take the longest. From a research standpoint, the intense variability in sets and variations from 1972-2017 is going to inevitably slow down that stage. In consequence, the grading will slow as well, as the different identities of the sets - and expertise it takes to know the grading standards - requires a lot more knowledge than do the vintage or ultra modern sections. Just think about it, a modern sub can contain a 1998 skybox 3000 gold Randy Moss acetate card, followed by a 2014 Mookie Betts paper rookie, followed by a 1997 Tim Duncan chrome, followed by a 1972 Topps Hank Aaron. Each has wildly different grading standards.

Thats logical and makes sense but they have all those cards on file. In the PSA newsletters it stated "The majority of the#@PSA#@backlog#@is Ultra-Modern cards (2017 to present) submitted through our#@Value service". In another issue it also said "Through 2019 and most of 2020, ultra-modern cards were comprising as much as 70% of our#@backlog".

i’ve emailed them and they said there’s nothing wrong with my order/payment method. I updated my payment info online earlier today just in case. Might call them but i feel like that’s overkill at this point.

Question:
How soon after grades are in does PSA update their POP REPORT?

Thanks. Good to know considering I have a super express in Q2 and 2 cards had pop increase by 3 cards.
My PSA 10 D-Wade that just popped has not been entered I. The pop yet and should have shipped. I took screen shot prior.

Great to wake up to a notification that your card was charged by PSA. 9/25 economy order than had been in QA2 about 2 weeks.

Just got an economy order back that I sent in July.

37 cards, 2 PSA 10s. I'm literally speechless. It was mostly 2016 or newer sets, with high gem rates. Honestly cannot believe it.

I was watching this video:. The guy mentioned in the video had over 40 cards coming back as altered out of around 340 and only a handful of PSA 10. They seem to be getting tougher.

Maybe they have been working in AI technology already before they purchased.

I saw the past week's PSA youtube reveals, a lot of disappointments. If you take a chance hoping the card to get a 10, you won't get a 10. My last sub was 100% Gem because I weeded out of 15 cards with only 2 to submit.

Think it's been mentioned in other places recently, but my guess is that they are really tightening up on the front centering where previously cards were sliding through as gem mints even though they were right on 60/40 on the front. Now, even if a card measures 60/40, if a card by a look/feel doesn't seem like it should be a gem mint, it won't get that 10. I've never agreed with the 60/40 allowance...at a maximum, centering should be what BGS allows for which is 55/45. A lot of people are going to be disappointed with the amount of 9s they got as their orders are graded. Probably need to lower expectations of 10s if you've got modern/ultra moderns waiting to be graded. Another poster posted an interview with Nat Turner and that was one thing he mentioned.

They came back MINSIZERQ which is completely different than Altered/Trimmed. They were a bunch of early 90s basketball cards that he pulled straight from the pack on his channel. It was cards across multiple sets and years so if its the new AI, then that is very concerning honestly because you can't pinpoint one set. This also isn't good for Ultra Modern because Panini's QC isn't any better than Fleers in the early 90s.

Yes - you are right. It was MINSIZEQ. This worries me as I have a lot of vintage cards can come out of the pack a little smaller. I thought they were supposed to check the edges for trimming versus a factor cut instead of labeling a pack pulled card as undersized. I will have to be very careful what I submit.

I never send in anything under 55/45, but I’m still getting hammered on grades, averaging about 33% Gem Rate. Before last August I routinely had a Gem Rate of 60-80%. The biggest issue I have is I seem to be getting 33% Gem, 66% Mint, and the occasional 8 or lower. So everything I send in is Mint but they are nitpicking every little thing to justify not giving out as many 10’s anymore. Out of the 300+ cards I’ve graded and gotten back since August I’ve got about 100 that will be regraded by BGS or HGA, alreary sent 48 of them in to BGs/HGA.

I really believe PSA has an internal policy to have a ratio of 2:1 of PSA 9 to PSA 10
